A Few Promises

Happy Sunday friends:
Just a short note today to thank everyone who subscribes, free or paid. According to my dashboard, I’ve published more than 2,000 articles now. I’ve never had a paywall on my articles and never will.
The world, especially the U.S., is in a rapid, multifaceted transformation. We can all see it and feel it. There is no stopping a geopolitical reordering now. But transforming to what? That still depends on how well we collectively adapt to the battlefield, and whether we understand the battle at all.
My goal is to arm the population, not with guns, but with situational awareness, with information, so that we can make the best individual and collective decisions for ourselves, our families, and our nations.
I’ve been doing this for nearly six years now and I promise to continue until we restore a democracy in America that my grandchildren can safely grow up in.
I know there is a lot of information out there, especially now that chatbots can crank out semi-credible simulations of analysis and commentary. I promise I will never publish a word written by “AI” unless it’s for a reason, and clearly labeled as such.
Finally, I know my work is often dark, but the longer I do this the more confident I am that despite the chaos to come, we will get through this. No technology will contain us. No propaganda will fool us. And no thugs will intimidate us.
