From the corresponding CNN article: “Last year, prior to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Agrawal — then Twitter's chief technology officer — proposed to Zatko that Twitter comply with Russian demands that could result in broad-based censorship or surveillance of the platform, Zatko alleges.” 😤😠😡🤬
Why doesn’t somebody set up a liberal/centrist social media platform? I suppose it’s because investors in such a project, would be more interested in ‘clicks’ for their bang for the buck.
Right wing hate/bullshit gets 10 times more clicks than sensible/reasonable discussion and reporting.
Spank Flaps, when I was younger I tried to write a social media platform for Christian atheists. I didn't know that it was illegal, though a few months later in college it came to my attention that it was legal in Arkansas, but in 1998, that didn't stop Bill and Melinda Gates from working together on a website and even created a series of websites for religious, charitable and all-volunteer atheists called In The Dark.
He described that the "holy grail" was finally there. "The reason why we found it important is because we saw it as a great opportunity to get people involved in atheism and to get people inspired for change."
In 2017 the site grew to over 500K members and more recently it's just been turned into an official social network.
Nick Shitty, which official social network did In The Dark turn into? Is it still a network for those interested in atheism?
Around that same time, 1998, I used to visit a website called Phinnished. I am not certain that is the correct spelling, but it was for students who were completing their Doctorates Degree. Phd. A very supportive group who encouraged, supported and celebrated each other's struggles and successes in academia. Very sweet. Academia has a very dark side to it as well.

I reported him but he probably won't do anything to his own account.
I know you know who I am assuming you are who I think you are...
