In fact, Barr’s most consistent assignment has been representing Project Veritas, the infiltration, harassment and propaganda arm of Erik Prince and Peter Thiel — who provided the initial financing for James O’Keefe to falsely attack ACORN a decade ago.

Benjamin Barr was at Deploraball, an event for MAGA3X, the group started by Mike Flynn and Peter Thiel to steal the 2016 election and start QAnon.
Barr came to our attention when Gal noticed “Disarm the Deep State” on the same website that had a photo of Mike Flynn signing his name “Q.”
Disarm the Deep State is a “political action committee” (PAC) to benefit Jim Watkins, the owner of 8chan/8kun, the website that “Q” ran on. Benjamin Barr is his lawyer for it.
Benjamin Barr has represented Watkins before, in 2019, to defend 8chan in front of Congress after three separate mass murders were broadcast on the neo-nazi website. This is one of the most duplicitous and false documents I have ever seen submitted to Congress.

Barr has been a member of the Federalist Society for over a decade and participated in the Citizens United case which destroyed economic fairness in elections.
In 2015, Barr transformed his lawfare operation, the “Wyoming Liberty Group” (Wyoming is where Erik Prince has his “ranch” that trains Project Veritas assets) into the “Pillar of Law Institute.” The goal?
“The Institute is part of a growing group of wealthy people who want to spend more money to influence elections.”
As promised, the “Pillar of Law Institute” performed lawfare to undermine elections immediately in 2016.

To summarize, Benjamin Barr represents Project Veritas, Jim Watkins and the website “Q” ran on, and is partnered with a sitting FEC commissioner. This seems highly problematic.

I'm trying to find if there's any relation between Benjamin Barr and former congressman and Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr. Benjamin looks kind of like he could be Bob's son, but I'm finding nothing indicating that is the case. I just got curious when I saw Ben's fellow at Pillar of Law Institute, Russell Verney was campaign chair for Bob Barr's 2008 LP candidacy. It's probably not that important anyway, but just found it interesting.
