RIP Fred Hampton. His comments about the FBI and Warden Nixon show the deep distrust of the FBI that the Black community has had, probably since it's inception, and his warnings of how to handle "the pigs" are relevant for any dissenters today. Careful of muddleheads and scatterbrains among us too! We would do well to learn from activists of the past, and to build solidarity in our common struggle against an authoritarian surveillance state.
