Let's start by stripping Thiel of his companies. If he doesn't show up to testify before Congress, that should not be a hard thing to do.

Musk will get a reckoning all of his own making. He can try to hide the downfall of Tesla by incorporating it in a single entity, but that'll bring down the entity itself.

As for Trump, you said it yourself. He can hide from humiliation all he wants, but the Iranians, for one, won't let him...

Another great piece, Jim.

I was eagerly awaiting your take on Thiel fleeing to SSouth America. He is such a weak sauce fascist.

He won't get away forever.

If Argentina won't extradite him, then with Trump's kidnapping of Maduro setting a precedent, a future righteous administration could just swoop in and take Thiel away into the night. Trump showed us what can be done if you give no fucks, so perhaps we can take some inspiration from this shitshow to achieve some justice. I won't hold my breath, but it would be an amazing sight if it happened.

I also wonder how the recent news of JD potentially being on rocky ground with the regime plays into Thiel's escape...

It was reported today that Trump apparently routinely ridicules JD and always brings up his failures and mishaps, and makes fun of him to others. Trump is not happy with JD's frequent vacations and especially his performance at the Pakistan Iran talks, and since Trump is a sadistic asshole, who loves humiliating his sycophants, picking on JD has become a trend as of late.

Susie Wiles also apparently lectured JD on his online addiction and his habit of being on his phone during important meetings. Crazy that we have a president and a VP that spend most of their time whining and shit-posting online whilst the world burns.

I also read that JD is allegedly starting to reconsider his 2028 ambitions, especially given that by all appearances Trump may be warming to Rubio being the MAGA heir apparent. This would be interesting because MAGA hates JD and since he has the charisma of an Ebola milkshake, Americans en masse will never flock to him.

But I doubt Marco's ethnicity will do him any favors with hardcore MAGA. They will never fully embrace a non-white. Then again, who knows.

But JD allegedly feels isolated now that Tulsi, his only non-interventionist allie in the regime is leaving, and he is surrounded with Iran hawks, so maybe he will maneuver his own exit prior to 2028 if things do not improve.

It stands to reason, given their long relationship, that JD and Thiel speak to each other often, so if JD has been struggling with his place in the regime and is having second thoughts about his chances in 2028 and beyond, that he has shared this with Thiel in recent months. Or Thiel is aware of what's been going on from others in the administration, or via surveillance. None of that would be out of the realm of possibility, nor would any of it surprise me.

If thiel sees that his golden boy is a shiny turd and he is now openly saying he has given up on America, then it makes sense that he would jump ship. Also that billionaires tax in California butt-hurt him too.

But JD being weary and Thiel fleeing is a good thing for us, even if the road ahead is going to be a brutal slog. We just can never allow a Thiel and Musk acolyte to become president, so let's hope we are destined to dodge a bullet on that front.

And if Yarvin leaves next, that is another good omen.

Which gutless wonder in the Dems do you think might swoop in? I'm not holding my breath.

I would not be surprised if Musk moved, or tried to move back to Canada with his mom. Canada and South Africa would surely not let him in. Mars is way too far. Where will he go to hide?

The pedo techno fascists live in a different world than we. The laws and rules that we live by do not apply to them. Russian, American, German, Spanish, French, British, Italian oligarchs have a lot in common with each other, and nothing in common with the people of their own country, and until the Bibi Trump war would vacation and party together on the sands of Dubai

Meanwhile hold on tight. In two or three weeks, according to a Sr VP of Exxon, a VP of Chevron or the International Energy Agency, the world's strategic reserves of oil, will run out, and oil prices will rise to $120 or more per barrel. We are looking at long lines for gas, and gas at $8 or more a gallon.

Meanwhile, countries like Japan will be in he same shape as they were in 1941 when they bombed Pearl Harbor.

Trump made a big deal out of sending one tanker with 800,000 barrels of oil to Japan, they use at least 3,00,0000 barrels a day, and that 800,000 barrels came out of our stock,

I thought we had to September but oil company execs say, 2 or 3 weeks.

Fill up now. Tomorrow I am cutting grass on my my property )5 acres) then taking my empty cans and going down to refill them and the car while the gas is only $6.50 a gallon.

Sandra Tuttle's avatar

Good plan Bill. Wow, that's some expensive gas. What state? I filled up last time with premium @ $4.59/gal. In N.C.

William Farrar's avatar

It is William not Bill,Will,Willie. Gas on the west coast is around $6.00 a gallon and in parts of LA, say Hollywood $8.

The reason is that oil on the west coast has to be transported by either rail across the whole of the country, or as was the case before the Trump Netanyahu war, imported from the gulf.via the Strait of Hormuz. And then there is the right wing disdain for the "left coast".

Sandra Tuttle's avatar

Ok, William. Thanks. I think most of the gas on the East coast comes through Colonial Pipeline. I believe it runs south to NNE. Im only a few miles from a massive tank farm.

William Farrar's avatar

In my neck of the woods, the Pacific NW, crude oil is transported in via tank cars, miles long, and off loaded at refineries near Anacortes, WArun by Marathon (Formerly Tesoro, a Koch owned faclitiy) and H F Sinclair.

Pipelines are much cheaper and more effiecient thant tank cars.

Remember in 2020 he needlessly hid in the WH bunker during a protest, then claimed it was a safety inspection. As if POTUS has duties like that!

Also I heard that when golfing, he spends most of his time in the bunker.

Spank, John Cleese once said that it always makes him feel better when he sees trump golfing, 'cuz it reminds him that Hitler shot himself in a bunker.

He would, but, like everything else he does, he cheats at golf.

Two megalomaniacs and a malignant narcissist got together and ran into a brick wall called we the people. Also, unlike Eva Braun, Melania will bail on Trump’s bunker.

Yesterday, Kyle Kuliniski was reading the riot act on these same topics: Musk and the Index funds, Theil and Argentina, and the oil shock that is about to land on our doorstep. It looks like we are in for a rough ride.

I am looking forward to the day it all comes crashing down, even though I know building back will be a gargantuan task. But, we have an opportunity to create something far better than what we had before, even if it takes many years.

Sandra Tuttle's avatar

My thoughts too. It may hurt a lot to try and rebuild after THE GREAT FALL, but if we are smart we will learn from this experience and truly "build back better". That MUST include laws to stop corporations from using big money to run our executive, S.C., and congressional branches. Full stop. And, both parties are corrupt. Run ALL the rats out of DC.

Based on info from Black Man Spy crew, the oil shock will start in 2-3 weeks and barrels of oil can hit $150/barrel. The AI crash could happen shortly after, considering the damage to the US economy.

Thiel is not beyond reach, it just depends on the arm.

I watch his podcast every morning. He and his cohosts hit the mark every time. I watched that interview of the Senior VP of Exxon Mobil, Neil Chapman. It's chilling.
