Democracy Struggles for Breath — Media is Delighted

Normalizing chaos is profitable #TheGreatAwaitening

The feckless press is fiddling away on the deck of the Titanic, entertaining its audience with a pseudo-political horse race seemingly manufactured for maximum drama and chaos. Our democracy is a football being casually tossed around between five windows on CNN.

CNN: “Isn’t it cute how a literal QAnon cult member is neck and neck with a politician? Just a few hundred votes between democracy and Speaker Trump! Stay close to CNN for updates!” 🫤

I’ve written a lot about the disastrous turn CNN has taken since a sociopathic “libertarian” took it over but it’s really accelerating towards the bottom these days. It is trying to position itself as “centrist” but that center is now a pivot point with democracy on one side and autocracy on the other.

This is not normal and it should not be normalized. The fact there was no “red wave” does not mean the upcoming takeover of the House and maybe the Senate by a fascist death cult is politics as usual.

It seems very likely we will lose the House and I cannot begin to tell you the utter shitshow it’s going to be turned into. It’s not just going to be investigations and constant brinksmanship with POTUS, the Legislature is going to try everything in its power to create a constitutional crisis that will break us apart.

The cult is already declaring victory in undecided races and the longer it stretches out, the more rabid and radicalized they will get.

The governor’s race in Arizona is going to be a flash point regardless of the outcome. If Kari Lake gets into power, the entire state will be turned into a quasi-enemy of the federal government.

And if she doesn’t, the cult will focus their energy on creating violence and chaos in Arizona to “stop the steal.”

Finally, “Speaker Trump” is coming. Mark my words. I’m sure CNN will be absolutely delighted.
