Paul Singer is a libertarian venture capitalist known as “The Vulture.” He bought a stake in Twitter and wanted to remove founder Jack Dorsey as CEO which he finally did after trying for years.
The same night that Jack Dorsey announced he was stepping down, I got suspended for calling Joe Rogan “Steve Bannon’s gimp” — which was not against the Twitter rules, and after a huge uproar, my suspension was reversed.
Paul Singer is Chairman of the Koch-funded Manhattan Institute, one of the most insidious organizations in America. It was founded in the ‘70s by Knight of Malta William Casey who went on to become Reagan’s CIA Director and executed Iran-Contra.
The purpose of the Manhattan Institute is to launder racist propaganda — full stop. It is responsible for a shocking amount of racist ideas and policies in America.
Charles Murray, the racist who wrote The Bell Curve, which presents a pseudo-scientific argument for white supremacy, has been funded by the Manhattan Institute for 40 years.
“Broken Windows” was a racist policy that promoted the idea that police had to crack down on Black people in order to protect white people. Broken Windows was invented by the Manhattan Institute.
Peter Thiel has been using the Manhattan Institute to network and build his dangerous companies for at least 25 years. Both his weaponized data collection and surveillance company Palantir and his facial recognition company Clearview, which is run by neo-nazis, were formed at the Manhattan Institute.
More recently, the Manhattan Institute’s operative Christopher Rufo was responsible for inventing the racist anti-CRT propaganda which used a graduate-school law class as a boogeyman to terrify suburban white women into believing their kids were being “indoctrinated” into “woke ideology.”
Now Christopher Rufo is trying to portray Disney as a den of pedophiles:

The full scale of the damage the Manhattan Institute has done to minorities in America is horrifying. And I find it shocking that the man who currently runs it also seems to be at least partly in charge of Twitter.

And didn't Twitter's TOS change a few days after JD left? And didn't those new TOS say something about sharing people's personal information? Seem to remember people saying it would make it harder to expose anonymous trolls, whatever their flavour.
Disturbing to see the extent to which these ideologies are continually being normalized and embedded into the mainstream.
