Federalist: “We Need to Stop Calling Ourselves Conservatives”
Correct. The appropriate word is “Nazis”
I had never heard of Federalist writer John D. Davidson until this morning.
Turns out John D. Davidson is a Kremlin propagandist who is openly advocating to shift “conservatism” to fascism. In other words, John D. Davidson is a Nazi.
I knew about “The Federalist” of course, which has been on the right edge of American politics for a long time. In fact Sean Davis, the CEO of the Federalist, was the first person to block me on Twitter.
But what used to be a “conservative” publication is now advocating in public to shed that label, in favor of… something else. A “new political identity.” [emphasis added]
What is fascinating about this article is that it never says what should replace “conservatism” as the guiding principle of the American right. Instead it simply lays out the argument for the Fourth Reich, for literal Nazism.
The entire article laments the fact that “conservatives” were supposed to “preserve” the dominance of white people to retain “the rich traditions and civilizational achievements of the past and defend them from the left” but have miserably failed.
John D. Davidson says the conservatives have failed to conserve anything, and points to progress in basic human rights to marriage, gender and racial equality as the proof that it hasn’t, although he admits that “arranged marriage” and “trial by combat” would be going a bit too far “whatever the merits of those practices.”
“Western civilization” is transparent code for “male-dominated white people” and “ever-shrinking private sphere” is an allusion to great replacement theory.
Despite the overt, horrific bigotry, John D. Davidson is just getting started. Here he makes an explicit argument for a fascist authoritarian government.
“a willingness to embrace government power has been a topic of fruitful debate”
“that means getting used to the idea of wielding power, not despising it”
“The government will have to become, in the hands of conservatives, an instrument of renewal in American life — and in some cases a blunt instrument indeed.”
To make things crystal clear, John D. Davidson says “wielding government power will mean a dramatic expansion of the criminal code” in order to defeat the “abortion regime.”
The Federalist wants women dying from ectopic pregnancies or 10-year old rape victims to go to prison for murder if they have an abortion.
The Federalist and its Nazi writer John D. Davidson want transgender people, their doctors and their allies prosecuted.
John D. Davidson knows this “sounds radical” but “conservatives” should not worry about it “because the necessary task is radical and revolutionary.”
Incredibly, John D. Davidson admits that all the power they gain from this “revolutionary” movement may lead to corruption. But they should only worry about that “after we have won the war.”
The Nazi movement in America is shedding its cloak. It’s right there for us to see.
This task is to understand it, name it, and extinguish it wherever it shows up.
Finally, John D. Davidson, you think you want a war, tough guy? You couldn’t war yourself out of paper bag, you sad, pathetic Nazi.
