Ginni Thomas is Key to Fixing This
She represents the rot of our entire system. Exposing her crimes and tactics may save it.
The deep rot in our system is perfectly encapsulated by Ginni and Clarence Thomas, an abusive liar who sexually harassed Anita Hill, lied about it to Congress, and got pushed through to the Court anyway. Clarence Thomas is a proto-Kavanaugh, an amoral abuser deeply compromised by the Council for National Policy and other christo-fascist anti-American groups through his wife. Clarence Thomas simply does what he’s told.
Ginni is a long-time cult member
Ginni Thomas was a cult member in a group called Lifespring.
Importantly, according to Cult Expert Dr. Steven Hassan, Ginni Thomas was “deprogrammed” by people “involved in right-wing causes.”
Her behavior validates this. Ginni Thomas actually believes the things she’s said and believed that the insurrection was justifiable. Her texts to Mark Meadows make this clear. Here she is saying that Amy Coney-Barrett is on the team and needs to be protected, and threatening Mark Meadows not to “fold” or “the evil just moves fast down underneath you all.”
Ginni Thomas appears to be experiencing severe undue influence (brainwashing) and believes she is a soldier in a holy war, which justifies, to herself, literally anything she does.
This is the Big Lie fully formed a week after the election.
Here is one accurate thing Ginni Thomas said.
“This war is psychological. PSYOP”
Crucially, Ginni Thomas was pushing for Sidney Powell to be put in charge of Trump’s legal team. Recall that Sidney Powell is Mike Flynn’s QAnon lawyer who got him out of his cooperation agreement with the DOJ — courtesy Bill Barr.
In my view, for the wife of a Supreme Court Justice to actively participate in the attempted overthrow of democracy betrays a total lack of contact with the real world. And it also makes her guilty of Seditious Conspiracy, just like the Oathkeepers and the Proud Boys.
Now, the January 6th Committee wants to speak with Ginni Thomas.
Critically, Ginni Thomas’s husband blatantly participated in trying to cover up her efforts through his votes on the U.S. Supreme Court.
It is not at all out of the question that Clarence Thomas could be charged with conspiracy as well. There is no chance he was unaware of his wife’s crimes, especially because he tried to use his vote to protect her. At a minimum, he must resign immediately.
This would be a great first step in restoring confidence in the Court and American democracy. This would potentially save Roe. This could save our country.
As additional information, I offer the following video. This is Ginni Thomas interviewing recently deceased Mike Flynn operative Rich Higgins who wrote the infamous “political warfare” document which got him kicked off the National Security Council in 2017. Ginni Thomas thought it was “stunning and masterful.”
Here is some background on Rich Higgins according to his own website. He claims to have started the DOD “Irregular Warfare Support” operation which incorporates Army PSYOP. And he was running a “classified project” at SOCOM while Mike Flynn was in Afghanistan. Recall that Mike Flynn said that he had executed “irregular warfare” on the American people in order to swing the 2016 election to Donald Trump.
Here is Higgins’ “masterful” document, a paranoid white nationalist fantasy touching on numerous harmful conspiracy theories including Great Replacement Theory, and highlights Mike Flynn’s favorite boogeyman “Islamists.”
This is the bizarre world Ginni Thomas lives in with her husband.
Significantly, Rich Higgins was partnered with Mike Flynn asset Ezra Cohen-Watnick on the National Security Council. In the second part of the video above, Higgins talks about how Ezra Cohen-Watnick has always run “missions” for Mike Flynn.
One of those missions was, as head of intelligence and special operations at the Pentagon, to set the stage for the insurrection.
The January 6th Committee should ask Ginni Thomas about both Rich Higgins and Ezra Cohen-Watnick — psychological warfare specialists who participated in the planning and execution of the insurrection at Mike Flynn’s direction. Ginni Thomas was well aware of the plan from the beginning. She is a traitor and should be charged.
Ginni Thomas and her husband have been undermining democracy for decades but this time, I hope, they went too far.
It’s a strange thing to think, much less say out loud, but Ginni Thomas may save our democracy.

"[T]he most important thing you can realize right now is that there are no rules in war." That's exactly what the majority of Americans do not understand -- a war has quite literally been waged against us on several fronts for a number of years. It doesn't look like the war people would tend to recognize:
bombs, tanks and men in green with rifles, etc. It is war all the same and they are serious, dead serious. And anyone who isn't with them is the enemy.
You'll see many of the same players we are fighting against today in this David Corn/Mother Jones Article from 2013: Inside Groundswell: Read the Memos of the New Right-Wing Strategy Group Planning a “30 Front War”
Ginni Thomas, Allen West, and a crew of conservative activists and journalists have formed a hush-hush coalition to battle progressives—and Karl Rove
Believing they are losing the messaging war with progressives, a group of prominent conservatives in Washington—including the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and journalists from Breitbart News and the Washington Examiner—has been meeting privately since early this year to concoct talking points, coordinate messaging, and hatch plans for “a 30 front war seeking to fundamentally transform the nation,” according to documents obtained by Mother Jones.
Dubbed Groundswell, this coalition convenes weekly in the offices of Judicial Watch, the conservative legal watchdog group. During these hush-hush sessions and through a Google group, the members of Groundswell—including aides to congressional Republicans—cook up battle plans for their ongoing fights against the Obama administration, congressional Democrats, progressive outfits, and the Republican establishment and “clueless” GOP congressional leaders. They devise strategies for killing immigration reform, hyping the Benghazi controversy, and countering the impression that the GOP exploits racism. And the Groundswell gang is mounting a behind-the-scenes organized effort to eradicate the outsize influence of GOP über-strategist/pundit Karl Rove within Republican and conservative ranks.
One of the influential conservatives guiding the group is Virginia “Ginni” Thomas, a columnist for the Daily Caller and a tea party consultant and lobbyist. Other Groundswell members include John Bolton, the former UN ambassador; Frank Gaffney, the president of the Center for Security Policy; Ken Blackwell and Jerry Boykin of the Family Research Council; Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch; Gayle Trotter, a fellow at the Independent Women’s Forum; Catherine Engelbrecht and Anita MonCrief of True the Vote; Allen West, the former GOP House member; Sue Myrick, also a former House GOPer; Diana Banister of the influential Shirley and Banister PR firm; and Max Pappas, a top aide to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas).
Among the conveners listed in an invitation to a May 8 meeting of Groundswell were Stephen Bannon, executive chairman of Breitbart News Network; Dan Bongino, a former Secret Service agent who resoundingly lost a Maryland Senate race last year (and is now running for a House seat); Leonard Leo, executive vice president of the Federalist Society; Sandy Rios, a Fox News contributor; Lori Roman, a former executive director of the American Legislative Exchange Council; and Austin Ruse, the head of the Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute. Conservative journalists and commentators participating in Groundswell have included Breitbart News reporters Matthew Boyle and Mike Flynn, Washington Examiner executive editor Mark Tapscott, and National Review contributor Michael James Barton.
