The US situation is dangerous enough as it is without letting our imaginations frighten us into paralysis. We have a decent bench of State leaders capable of busting onto the national stage by exposing the unconcealed Trump-Maga corruption and steamroller recklessness. Media-savvy leaders can seize every opportunity to expose Trump-Maga m in plain language as the lying traitors they are. Confident leaders can put the wannabe tyrants on notice that the tables will inevitably turn against them and that they 'll be the guilty criminals on trial before the nation.
Think we need a comic book? political graphic-designed game? South Park-like animation? that shows the history of recent 20th century leaders who led their people into destruction through egoism and insanity. Thinking of Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler, Mao in particular because these are figures most people might know a little more about. Could show the playbook of how these people came to power and misused power (what tricks they used and then compare and contrast with what is being done today by Putin, Trump, Xi, Netanyahu and Mr. Bone Saw). It's what you are doing but with a more game-oriented way of presenting info to people who don't want to read. Holds up the mirror of the past but interjects certain current or present authoritarians into the scene when they run the same plays. Somehow this should be entertaining....I know a tall order but it should spoof and shame the current ego-maniac sadists in power. Maybe one door opens to show a slice of history from the past. Then it closes. Another door opens that shows a current leader trying to pull the wool over people's eyes again by using a similar tactic or strategy. Blaming and scapegoating others are huge themes in how psychopaths gain power and abuse power. Door opens and Hitler is shown persecuting Jews and homosexuals. Door opens and Trump is shown mislabeling immigrants as criminals (stats could be shown in "footnotes" about facts related to who commits the most crimes - ie citizens). Trump is shown taking away the rights of women to have abortions. Real historical footage could be used for 20th Century misleaders. Not sure this is helpful at all but just some thoughts about a way to reach wider audience with a possible way to show them that they are being brain-washed and used by political leaders for destructive ends that will end up hurting not only others but themselves as well. Also, a door could open for creative ways to confront these tragic situations. Flash mobs could appear when ICE shows up. They could be dressed up with Stephen Miller Cone Heads (mimicking KKK) on top of their heads with his face on the front and white sheets over their bodies. They could be carrying Christian crosses or maybe crucifixes. Maybe then they could see what they are doing by being shown what they are doing.
The GOP comparing our timid Democrats to Pol Pot or Stalin is like comparing Charlie Kirk to Charlie Brown! The Republican party is clearly the party of bump-stocks, assault rifles, race-hate, qualified immunity, tax dodges, and Epstein coverups, and other sweetheart deals for the elite. Of over 5000 mass shooters, only 3 or 4 were trans, and the majority were white men radicalized to the right by people exactly like Charlie Kirk, Kash Patel, Blondi, Donald Trump, Tucker, Elon, and the rest of this criminal criminal confederation of scumbags.

I do wonder if some in the Republican Party were behind the murder of Kirk. In order to declare Marshall law and designate the dems a terrorist party. Is this too far fetched? As the article says, they are now making a political hero out of Kirk. I do know that I would not like to live in the US right now. Too many itchy trigger fingers and not enough critical thinking going on!
I've had the same thought. In any case, the shooter had to be well trained. Maybe ex- military or a hunter? The account of the rifle being found with inscribed ammunition was bogus and has now been walked back. The thought is out there now, which was the point. They needed a martyr. Is this our Horst Wessel moment?
I fear we're going to see some really bad things in the near future. This could trigger martial law, mass arrests, and who knows what else.
