The focus on the insurrection is good and I look forward to hearing all about what we already know about January 6th on prime time television next month. It was the most visible incident in the much, much larger plan to destroy our country from the inside out. Most people don’t understand the details and they must.
However, it is one incident, one day, in thousands of days in which agents of enemy foreign powers have plotted in the open to intentionally lie, cheat and steal in the project to install a fascist theocracy in America.
Here are a few ideas for things Congress might want to do some hearings about:
Codifying Roe v. Wade
The theft of the 2016 election through illegal psychological operations and Russian interference
Malign Russian influence on American life
Russian influence in Silicon Valley
Yuri Milner, Sergey Grishin, Peter Thiel, Facebook
Elon Musk and his plan to turn Twitter into a radicalization engine
Russian influence on politics
Russian influence on the military
Russian influence on the media
Fox News, Rupert Murdoch, the Koch Network, the Mercers
Russian propaganda tactics — how they work and how to identify them
The Council for National Policy and other #InstitutesOfMassDestruction (h/t Gal)
Palantir, Clearview and other Peter Thiel-led surveillance and targeting software embedded throughout the government and law enforcement
The Johnson Amendment, which says non-profits such as churches should not engage in political activity — which is completely unenforced
How social media propaganda creates undue influence, brainwashing and cults
The Big Lie and how to stop it
Mitigating the upcoming violence being planned for the 2022 elections
Protecting the 2024 elections
Any other ideas for hearings? Where are our representatives?
I couldn’t agree more and the senate LEAK on Hunter Biden ?
That's a good list, Jim.
Hope you're watching Maddow. From the beginning
Where is "liberal" Hollywood in this picture as we need another Michael Moore type documentary on this Russian influence campaign and the connection to Fox News, Rupert Murdoch, the Koch Network and the Mercers, ect. A high profile flamboyant piece that actually gets public attention that people actually end up seeing. Way to many of the "liberal" Hollywood elite talk a good game but when the possibility of social change where these multimillionaires might have to pay more taxes raises its ugly head they all become very quiet and cling to the current status quo. Corporate media conglomerates have at their heart only a survival instinct that puts the quarterly increase in profits and executive bonuses above any consideration of political freedom or morality, and shareholder profits is their proudly stated reason to exist. It's little wonder the only real criticism of predatory capitalism occurs on comedy and cartoon shows and not on so called news sources.
