Yes "War is hell" and that's why despots use it. It terrifies people, it makes them think that killing is JUST! War is simply legalised murder. Those who kill at home are no different from those who kill in war. There is a law that says it's not murder if you kill defending yourself. Tyler Robinson wasn't defending himself. Those soldiers who go to to another country aren't defending themselves in most instances. The only war enacted on American soil was against their own people. Politics is what's supposed to defend us. Negotiating is what should be done by politicians. If a country invades you and attempts to kill everybody then it's murder. If you try to beat them back then it's defence. WW1 and 2 was because the Germans were trying to invade another country. Other countries were obliged to come to their aid because they were too small to take care of it themselves. To not do so would have made them accomplices in genocide. That's the only time war should and can be justified. Not because they wanted to cut off your oil supply! Trump wants to wage war with anyone not because they are picking on a smaller nation but because he wants to build hotels there. How insane is that America!

Now everything makes perfect sense. I had so many questions. You answered them all and wrapped up in a nutshell just what Kirk was by saying, "Charlie Kirk was engaged in a holy war against America, against the Constitution, against Black & brown people, against women, against LGBTQ+ people—and against everyone who didn’t look like him."

Kirk peddled hate.

His death was able to distract from the Epstein victims —and the Russians sending 19 drones into Polish airspace! Triggering Article 4. Madness.

Somehow, I don't think Kash Patel would make it to Valhalla even if such a place existed. They sure are pushing division. And if they don't want to be called fascists, then don't act like a damned fascist. Take away driver's licenses? Kicked out of school? Secret tip lines? Gee, no problem with any of that! The worst part to me is reading the comments online of the crazy nut jobs who approve and now want to roar like a lion.

War has been interested in us for too damn long. Federal deficits - have they ever resulted in a budget cut to the Pentagon/military budget? That budget always is sacrosanct/untouchable. Canada is to the north. Mexico to the south. USA has largest military and military budget compared to other countries. We've been vulnerable before and not attacked. Why is the USA never secure? Money and power. Just want war to leave me (and us) alone.

Have been watching a professor expound on his theory of how power works by using examples from ancient history and philosophy. Explains more than I learned at university. The Youtube channel is Predictive History. Not that I agree with everything, but he makes some significant points about how human nature is susceptible to mind control through mythology (and other means). It's part of what has been used against Americans by the powerful. His conclusions are similar to those of Whitney Webb (One Nation Under Blackmail - Vols 1 and 2). We are being ruled by criminals. Trump is not the first and probably not the last. It's still up to us to create a better society and government. Other people in other countries have done it. It is possible. It's like John Lennon said: "War is over if you want it." But HOW MUCH do you want it?

Lolololololol.

"Vahalla" is also the next town over from White Plains, NY -- a bluish-collar, wannabe suburb of NYC and home of Ka$h's 4th-tier law school (RFK Jr.'s former place of employ), the Westchester County Executive's Office (Jeanine Pirro's former place of employ), and site of yet-another Trump Tower (35-storeys looming over the entire place). Wild-eye should take the Acela to Metro-North and get back home. He should not expect to see any yellow ribbons.

Wow! Clay Higgins is really in for it. Once his MAGA peers realize he’s embracing the cancel culture they’re all fighting so hard to defeat, they won’t stand for that. They’ll run him out on a rail.

Very interesting, Jim. I picked up on that phrase too, but I didn’t know the neo-aryans have lately been performatively decorating their manliness with it, so thanks for the update. For those who want to look into the connection between Odin/Wotan and the original Aryans of India 2000 BCE, Gordon Wasson’s book “Soma” gives the probable background: the Indo-European invaders, the Aryans, were using an infusion of Amanita muscaria mushroom as their sacrament, a Siberian-derived practice designed to take them ritually and psychically to heaven, i.e., Valhalla. The Germans , being Indo-Europeans too, shared in this ecstatic shamanism: “Wotan” literally derives from an old Germanic word wodenesse meaning “madness,” as in divine, raving madness such as the Berserkers were famous for, A. muscaria being plentiful in the northern forests. Kashyap (Patel), by the way, is named after one of the 7 sages behind the Rig Veda, which is like 20% about the Soma “sacrifice.”

Criminal defense attorney. I had a heroin- and fentanyl-dealing client in 2017 from WV who said he belonged to "the religion of Thor." Being from Minnesota, I silently racked my brain for what, other than Martin Luther or the Pope, Norwegians believe in. Within 15 seconds, client volunteered that he was "AN," i.e. Aryan Nation, and "wouldn't mind going back inside" with his "brothers." Being a zealous advocate, I got him 18-months of house arrest in the interest of justice. He would subsequently mess-up, of course, and the feds put him away for 18 years. So, play-ah got his homecoming wish, for which society will pay despite his absence from the streets. Skinheads are no joke and never have been.

Thor is the other A. muscaria figure in that shamanic religion — Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir, is mushroomic in petroglyphs and amulets, and his thunderbolts were thought to engender Rabenbrot, “raven’s bread,” the raven being Thor’s or Woden’s totem bird and the mushroom its food. (They grow in WV.) So, the aryan mind is anchored to this steely and dank kind of mysticism, going back even earlier than the migration to India.

Fantastic, superb. Every day brings us closer to the Twilight of the Gods. Unfortunately, no one will be left to let the media know what happened or who was responsible, when all the time the writing was on the wall for all to see. You can't really understand fascism until it shows up at your door. It's at the door.

We have an administration of weak-minded sycophants whose sole purpose is to please their dear leader. No one is coming to help us. No one is going to enforce the law or the Constitution. No establishment politician or corporate media is going to shine a light on the truth. All we can do is whisper amongst ourselves. The only saving grace is that the administration is so craven, so hateful, and so incompetent that they may well derail themselves. Here's hoping, that's all I got, but I'm saying it with a smile. :)

Thanks to Jim for this well researched explication of the frankly insane ideas of the right. Never knew about the Valhalla thing.

Well my friends we made it, barely, through another week. I feel that there is something worth mentioning—

The administration and Trump backed down from the weeklong threats to occupy Chicago. On state run media Fox News even. This is a big victory for us. They are showing weakness in many respects. Trump appears weary, tired, and sick. The nation as a whole has been exposed to the inept and corrupt and incompetent management, if you can call it that, of the various departments, particularly the right’s favorite— law enforcement.

Try and enjoy the weekend everyone and please Jim take a little time off for yourself
