It’s Time to Think Bigger

DOGE logo found in Nazi stockpile. Magna Carta discovered and set on fire.

According to the New York Times, a “startling discovery” was made in Argentina. [Web archive]

Workers clearing out the basement of Argentina’s Supreme Court made a startling discovery recently. They found boxes filled with swastika-stamped notebooks, propaganda material and other Nazi-era documents.

The boxes had been stored there for more than eight decades, the court said, and were uncovered by accident because workers were going through archives for the creation of a Supreme Court Museum.

Upon opening the boxes, they found “material intended to consolidate and propagate Adolf Hitler’s ideology in Argentina, during the height of World War II,” according to a statement from the court in Spanish.

Note the stamp on the outside of the documents—a 14-spoked gear that was the logo of the Arbeitsfront or German Labour Party. It is also, as I reported, the logo that Elon Musk promoted multiple times.

So, in effect, the DOGE logo was just discovered throughout a cache of 84-year-old Nazi documents which were delivered on the orders of Hitler himself. Nevertheless, the media still has nothing to say about Musk’s obvious Nazi ambitions, while they report on the historical minutiae of the original. It’s dangerous and maddening.

He Is Not Just a “Nazi”: Why It Matters

Another incredible find was announced today, this one at Harvard—an institution currently under assault by the Trump administration. One of only six surviving copies of the original Magna Carta, c. 1300, originally bought for $27.50 in 1946, was discovered.

The dark irony of this is that the Trump regime is currently in the process of trying to reverse the Magna Carta. Due process and habeas corpus, two of the principles enshrined in the Magna Carta, are under direct assault.

At the same time, the theocratic criminal cult masquerading as the Supreme Court is debating whether birthright citizenship, a foundation of American democracy since the slaves were emancipated, is enforceable by judges. Honestly, it’s just a farce at this point.

So I started to jot down a to-do list for a sort of Project 2028 for Democracy-Enjoyers and I wanted to share it, not because I think it’s necessarily a perfect plan, or a practical one, but because I think we all need to step out of the frame the enemy is trying to put us in—as helpless, feckless libs who will never try to challenge them.

• Supreme Court

  • Reform to rotating judges on 18-year terms appointed by successive presidents

  • Create and enforce ethics rules

  • Eject illegitimate Justices

• Legislative

  • Eliminate Electoral College

  • Rebalance Senate

  • Eliminate gerrymandering

  • Term limits

• Executive

  • Create and enforce transparency requirements for high office candidates, e.g. tax returns, deep background checks

  • Create clearer, more streamlined process to impeach and remove sitting politicians who break the law

  • Clarify legal boundaries of executive orders

  • Eliminate “Presidential Immunity” and all other unconstitutional rulings that made the president a king

• Justice

  • Enshrine separation of Executive and DOJ into law

  • Create transparency requirements for nominees for Attorney General, FBI Director and direct subordinates

  • Eliminate sheriffs

  • Eliminate Jim Crow police unions

• Technology

  • Eliminate fascist companies from government contracts, e.g. Palantir, SpaceX, Anduril, Starlink, Clearview

  • Reform bidding process to include background checks on ownership

  • Update and secure all government systems from intruders, foreign and domestic

  • Ensure private information of citizens is always protected

This is just a quick start, not an all-inclusive proposal. I know it may seem like an impossible wish list, but remember we also thought “it could never happen here.”

It did happen here. The theocrats, broligarchs and Russians want to reverse a thousand years of civilization to rebuild it in their fascist image. So, it’s time for the sane world to start thinking much bigger.

I mean, two can play this game, right?
