Currently reading a book "Divorcing the Dictator" about Panama's General Noreiga. Not quite finished but author's point of view is that Noreiga had to be taken down by Bush Administration because the Reagan administration failed to reign in state prosecutors in Florida who were determined to prosecute Noreiga for drug dealing. Things just got out of control. Noreiga could not be allowed to leak to the world what he knew and he knew a LOT about CIA/Intelligence in the U.S. and the world. Noreiga involved in running guns to Contras and to Sandinistas. He was on the CIA payroll for decades and, at one time, making as much or more from the CIA annually as the salary for the President of the United States!

Perhaps Florida will once again pull the house down because Florida prosecutors want people to be held accountable for the crimes Epstein committed? Also, the victims are still alive and have been denied justice as a result of Epstein's "suicide".

David Cay Johnston thinks the house of cards won't collapse because the client list includes both Democrats and Republicans. There are too many things that could unravel that would be damaging to too many powerful people and the existing political system.

Still, won't give up the wish that Epstein, from the grave, could pull Trump out of the chair behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office and remove him permanently from power and the White House.
