I concur 100%. This is an information war. The Russians (among others) rigged the 2016 election (IF only with disinformation). JIMMY CARTER - the world's expert on free and fair elections - is on record stating the Russians tipped the scale in favor of Trump in 2016.

Jim is right on with his diagnosis of how we got here, and the Democratic leadership still appears to ignoring the obvious-they are ignoring the working class. Talking about eggs and milk instead of owing a house, a car, two weeks vacation, and free health care. This country can only be saved by a mass movement of all the people who will be expected to work for these monopolies. A Labor Party with leaders like Rashida and Bernie could siphon off voters from both corporate parties and add them to the 100 million adults who voted for neither Trump nor Harris.

Thanks for telling it like it is but I have absolutely no hope for the future of the Democratic Party that is stuck in the past and cannot find a voice or personality that resonates enough for the American people to create change. They will never stop acting like this is the 20th century and all the old rules of sportsmanship or whatever still exist. A third party or grassroots revolution is the only hope.

I know I thought it when I saw his pic, and I even showed my husband a pic of him and you side by side. I know which one I would have picked to run the DNC and it sure wasn’t dear ole Ken.

Does anyone believe that the Democratic Party even tries to listen to people’s squeakings down here? Is there any way to get through?

No offense, Jim. Your posting here is excellent and dead nuts on. But we (at least I) have never seen the party leaders even try to have a dialogue with real people. Should we look for leadership from other quarters?

I’m 80 years old and I saw this coming at us for over a decade! It started when Reagan gave Rupert Murdoch citizenship to open the floodgates of lies from Fox News. Thank you for putting this out there. We are weak . Kamala deserved better.

"Yes, we KEN?" "YES, WE KEN???" That's the fucking message? Yeah, we're doomed if this shit goes on much longer. OMG, whose bright idea was trotting out "Yes, we Ken?" FFS!!

You're 100% on point, Jim, and I hope this guy is more, MUCH MORE, than he appears. Republicans have been working on what's happening now for FIFTY YEARS, while Democrats have been trying to "reach across the aisle to work with our Republican friends." Fucking hell! If we get out of this, I am DONE with politics. Just done, and there's a lot of people in it now, that should be done with it too. The word, "Representative" means nothing anymore -- IT'S IN THE JOB TITLE! They only represent themselves. People won't say anything because they're afraid of getting primaried. INTEGRITY, and not worrying about your damned job, should BE the job, but instead we just accept now that representatives won't say shit if their mouths were full of it because they might get primaried. Ugh!! Rant over for today....

Wow. No punches pulled. Absolutely 100% accurate.

The Democratic Party is at a crossroads and it’s alarming to see how few people understand that. There will be no riding “good feelings” back into power. There needs to be a wholesale change in the party from their attitude towards voters to their mission statement.

Jim is right about the DNC’s fate if they refuse to change course. They need to get away from the toxic back and forth and show the American people why they deserve their vote again.
