“Killnet” Takes Down Airport Websites — Media Blows it Yet Again
CNN and Guardian seem to have no idea how any of this works 🙄
Well this is alarming. “Russian-speaking hackers” brought down fourteen US airport websites this morning. A group called “Killnet” claimed responsibility. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/oct/10/cyberattacks-disrupt-us-airport-websites
The feckless press then managed to get the story totally wrong.
Guardian: “Russian hacktivists who support the Kremlin but are not thought to directly be government actors, according to CNN.” This is wrong on two counts.
First, CNN did not say that. CNN said this, which is also wrong.
“Politically motivated to support the Kremlin but ties to Moscow are unknown” is a singularly stupid sentence all by itself. No one volunteers to run sophisticated operations for Putin. FFS
Here is official government mouthpiece RT, spreading Kremlin COVID propaganda about the US in Russian through the “Founder of the Killnet hacker group.” Yesterday.
Here is Kremlin QAnon Telegram psyop “ULTRA NUCLEAR MAGA FORCE Q” using Killnet and RT propaganda to mindfuck Americans into killing themselves by not getting vaccinated.
This account has more than a quarter of a million subscribers. I’ve written about it and the large network of Kremlin QAnon accounts it’s part of.
Here is a barely translated release from Putin’s private military contractor Wagner Group about the “reshuffle” in Russia’s Ministry of Defense after Putin’s bridge got blown up on the same channel.
