Leopard Eats Faces: On Elon Musk, Network States & MAGA’s Reckoning

The richest man thinks America is too stupid to work for him

As we end the year 2024, with a few weeks to go before the inauguration of Donald Trump to be the 47th President, MAGA is having a great awakening of sorts about Elon Musk — who went on a racist tirade on Christmas about how Americans are too stupid to work for him, and wants to replace American jobs with specially selected immigrants.

Posting about the “dire shortage of extremely talented and motivated engineers in America,” Musk said:

“This is blindingly obvious when looking at NBA teams, as the physical differences are so obvious to see. However, the MENTAL differences between humans are FAR bigger than the physical differences!!“

After an uproar, Musk tried to clarify:

“I’m referring to bringing via legal immigration the top ~0.1% of engineering talent as being essential for America to keep winning.”

In other words, there are not enough smart people in the United States, so he wants to import people via the H-1B program, who are “extremely motivated” — which is code for “Americans are lazy.” Importantly, residence for H-1B employees is tied to their employment, so they either do as they are told, or will be forced to leave. It’s effectively legalized indentured servitude.

MAGA Revolt

This episode led to a rebellion in MAGA among certain “America First” influencers like Nazi promoter Laura Loomer — who gave Trump the idea to promote a hoax about immigrants eating pets at the presidential debate. Loomer went on the attack about Musk’s seemingly hypocritical stance on immigration, and questioned his motivations for DOGE. After a series of exchanges where Musk dismissed her as a “troll,” he took away her verification and suspended her for 12 hours.

This morning, Loomer was on a sympathetic Steve Bannon’s show to complain about Musk’s selective tolerance for “free speech,” but Musk’s smackdown of insufficiently loyal MAGA promoters extended beyond Loomer. Musk has demonetized a number of others as well.

What’s really going on here? Why is Musk so determined to replace American jobs with foreigners who he considers more intelligent? Because, as I’ve written, Elon Musk and the PayPal Mafia are eugenicists who truly believe they are superior to the rest of us.

Also, importantly, Musk has no allegiance to America or Americans whatsoever. As I recently wrote, the PayPal Mafia appear to be carving up the world with the goal of Russian, Chinese, and North American empires as the three major “poles” in a global realignment. This is disturbingly close to Orwell’s prediction in “1984”.

However, that’s not the end of their ambition — which is to end the idea of “nation-states” altogether. They think they have a new model.

Network States

If you aren’t familiar with the concept of “Network States,” here’s a thorough article on Gizmodo.

The Network State movement has been called a “cult,” a “scam,” a “kooky” dystopia, and, by its supporters, “the future” of human civilization. It would be easy to write the movement off as a fanciful daydream of idle billionaires, were it not for the fact that hundreds of millions of dollars are currently being poured into making it a reality. Efforts are being made to build new cities all over the world, and these cities, in turn, are serving as a testing ground for the feasibility of the utopian techno-vision that undergirds their development.

This idea (PDF) was created by a Silicon Valley technologist who immigrated from India and became the Chief Technology Officer of PayPal Mafia cryptocurrency company Coinbase. Here is the one sentence definition, replete with techno-jargon:

A network state is a social network with a moral innovation, a sense of national consciousness, a recognized founder, a capacity for collective action, an in-person level of civility, an integrated cryptocurrency, a consensual government limited by a social smart contract, an archipelago of crowdfunded physical territories, a virtual capital, and an on-chain census that proves a large enough population, income, and real-estate footprint to attain a measure of diplomatic recognition. [emphasis added]

Translated, this is a recipe for tech billionaires (“founders”) to create technocratic dictatorships that can enforce whatever kind of society they want — with whatever laws, or lack thereof, they can dream up in their narcissistic manic episodes. Here are a few excerpts from the Network State manifesto, including complaints about “grievance studies,” San Francisco, and how history can be rewritten like software:

The Network State concept has been spurred largely by investment from Pronomos, a Silicon Valley investment firm headed by Patri Friedman (Milton’s grandson) and funded by PayPal Mafia Antichrist Peter Thiel, his Palantir minion Joe Lonsdale, and other members of the oligarchy.

But network states are not designed to be in a benign coexistence with democratic nation-states, they are designed to replace them. This is meant to be an entirely new global model that will make national borders irrelevant.

With this in mind, consider what Elon Musk is building in Texas.

“Tesla Town” is, without a doubt, intended to be one of the physical locations for Musk’s own network state, which will be also be digitally populated by his personal social media site, formerly known as Twitter.

The Reckoning

The reality is that Donald Trump leapt to accept Elon Musk’s help with several months to go before the election, to the tune of more than a quarter billion dollars, because Trump’s cult was shrinking, as was his bank account — and his chances to win the presidency. Trump is not a smart man, and could never understand the idea of network states even if he was curious, which he fundamentally isn’t.

Trump simply took the money with no vetting of Musk or his motivations, in exchange for letting Musk help him pick the Cabinet and cut trillions from entitlements to pay for Musk’s impossible colony on Mars — which is undoubtedly where Musk expects the first extraterrestrial network state to be.

Trump’s MAGA / QAnon+ cult, in general, has no idea about any of this. Imagine a Democrat proposing to cut Medicare to fund a colony on Mars and to dissolve the United States of America to create techno-dictatorships.

Will the erosion of trust we’re seeing now from the likes of Laura Loomer continue to a greater understanding of the danger Musk poses to them all, or will Trump let Musk do whatever he wants, as long as Trump gets richer and stays out of prison? Given how quickly these fractures have arisen, weeks before Trump is inaugurated, I’m hopeful that at least a portion of MAGA will realize they’ve been hijacked and push back. This might create enough sand in the gears to get us to another election.

Finally, I note that exposing Musk & the PayPal Mafia is a good entry point to talk with MAGA / QAnon+ family and friends. This situation is useful because you are not attacking their cult leader, Donald Trump, you are pointing out infiltrators who cozied up to Trump because they want to dissolve the U.S. and put themselves in charge of North America — and divide it up into technocratic fiefdoms aka network states.

Doesn’t sound very American, does it?
