Her priest refused her communion so she went over his head 🤭

I’ve had my differences with Nancy Pelosi on strategy over the years, but the fact remains that Nancy is a badass — and not just in politics.

Nancy’s traditionalist priest denied her communion because of her stance on women’s health rights. Nancy did what Nancy does, which is execute a power move so ballsy that the poor dude who tried her has been reduced to a smoldering husk.

Nancy (paraphrasing):

“OK asshole, you don’t want to give me a wafer… Let’s see what the fucking Pope says about that.”

Note this isn’t just important for Nancy. It’s a statement by the head of the largest religion on Earth that he isn’t taking his faith backwards and is aligning himself with sanity. That could not be more important in the current geopolitical context.
