Trump’s fragile self-esteem has been glued together by NOT BACKING DOWN. With a toddler insisting on having his way we gently but FIRMLY tell him we understand his desire to have things go the way HE wants, but WE’RE SAYING NO, NOT THIS TIME, NOT ABOUT THIS ISSUE. Then we take action…not to hurt, but to teach that testing the limits itself, has a limit that WE WILL ENFORCE.

The courts and the people can take this attitude…”We understand your desire to break all the laws, make new rules, and arrogantly disregard all standards of human decency. BUT NOT THIS TIME, NOT REGARDING HUMAN LIFE, NOT REGARDING THE DESTRUCTION OF THE CONSTITUTION…THERE ARE LIMITS AND CONSEQUENCES. Then we take action.

Every one of us in our own sphere can take this attitude and proceed to behave from this perspective: the courts can set limits and calmly enact the CONSEQUENCES when he doesn’t adhere to the limits…holding him in contempt including fines every day until Garcia is brought safely home, or immediate arrest and imprisonment. The people can focus like a laser on pressuring Congress to do more to insist on bringing Garcia home safely and immediately. All forms of media can report daily and relentlessly, demanding the preservation of the rule of law including demands for CONSEQUENCES when the executive fails to uphold the law of the land.

Media should STOP BROADCASTING HIS LIES AND GASLIGHTING EFFORTS UNTIL HE BRINGS GARCIA HOME…a complete media blackout of Trump’s voice and face until he follows OUR rules of law.

I’m sure artists and other wise political organizers and influencers, like JIM, will have great ideas in this direction as well.

I have always had a fear of crowds. Getting dragged to flea markets, having to hold on to dad's belt loop, my 5 year old face mashed between Long Islander asses, Meanderthals cluelessly pushing through crowds hawking digital watches, socks, hair scrunchies and Gus's East Side Pickles.

As an adult I was sucked under and trampled at Notting Hill Carnival and thought I met my death beneath 10 foot tall speakers.

Now, the crowds are armed with little pee pee itchy scratchy trigger fingers and have been practicing pew pewing as Hot Pockets drool out their "your body, my choice" maws, wearing diapers like their soon-to-be reappointed leader and more ready than Jan 6, just like you called it, but in bigger groups of assholery.

They are angry and have every reason to be; we all are for different reasons and it's scary.

I'm "in the arena" as a local activist in my area. Have taken a few hits, been called a groomer for standing up for trans rights and calling out the B.S. when I see it. Live in a red state, and have had it. Moving very soon to a blue state where I can join forces with like-minded people who are willing to fight.

I make it a point to speak the truth when I hear someone repeat a Trumpist lie. I have not had an occasion to speak up when they come for anyone but I expect I will when it happens.
