I understand your scientific approach Jim but to my unscientific mind, he's just plain DUMB with or without his fixation on a "B." He's just a sick minded individual who is followed by others for reasons of their own. They are either hateful racists like him or in it for the money. Both are abhorrent to most of humankind. The world was unlucky because he latched onto their avariciousness or just plain stupidity! We need better educators for our children if we are to overcome these idiots.

He does know his voters. Those numbers pretty much stay at 33 percent or so. He has been the same playbook for years. He knows if he says the same thing repeatedly, that becomes the frame and mantra. It has worked for him so far. He has obvious cognitive and physical decline, but I don't see the dementia side everyone else does. Dude is just an older version of the guy he has always been. 33 percent may seem low, but it delivers elections and is loyal.

Very interesting. My father has dimentia. My mom has said she lives with him every day and looks at Trump and sees the same qualities.
As a trauma survivor trying to recover from cPTSD, I really hope I don't have these issues.
