Normalizing Treason

When the Overton Window has moved all the way to Russia.

Treason is the only crime defined in the U.S. Constitution. It’s very simple:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.

Historically, this has not been a crime frequently prosecuted, and the Framers made clear that they didn’t want the federal government to use it casually.

America was founded by “traitors” to the King of England. We hear MAGA throw the word around casually about their political enemies. It’s not an accusation to be made lightly.

However, when a large, well-coordinated plan to overthrow the government is being hatched in the open by people who already used violence to try to steal the last election, when they are openly organizing vigilante cops to run death squads on a “deep state target list,” and when they are overtly taking the position of our foreign enemies, we are dealing with Treason, with a capital “T”.

Mike Flynn has been a traitor since 2013 at the latest, when he went to Russian military intelligence headquarters in Moscow. Flynn cemented his alliance with Putin when he went back to Moscow in 2015. But in many ways, Flynn was born a traitor.

In perhaps the most alarming of Flynn’s treasonous statements yesterday on his QAnon tour podcast, Flynn says Russia may have “surrogate forces” inside the U.S.

As I wrote in March, the propaganda coming out of both the Kremlin and Mike Flynn’s network leaves me deeply concerned that there will be efforts to use people inside the U.S. to commit terrorist acts in order to affect the election, ie. “Black Swans.”

This set of conditions was made even darker by a report yesterday, for some reason first obtained by the Murdoch-owned NY Post, that six Russian nationals tied to ISIS-K were arrested across the country in a sting operation.

As additional context, Flynn Org terrorist Ivan Raiklin threatens “live swatting” and “capital punishment” of Flynn’s enemies in conjunction with “constitutional Sheriffs” while at a press conference to defend J6 insurrectionists.

Raiklin, considered by many of us to be the most likely candidate to be the J5 pipe bomber, spends his time intimidating and threatening people like Dr. Fauci in Congress. Ivan was one of the primary planners of the assault on the Capitol on J6, and showed up there with a “Fight Like a Flynn” mask on.

As I recently wrote, the trial and conviction of Donald Trump in New York of 34 felony convictions, regardless of the merits of the case, largely work to the advantage of the violent insurgency being planned for America. It gives the left a fun new phrase to add to Trump’s intro — “convicted felon” but this is already being used to “activate” Flynn’s large brainwashed cult to prepare for a violent conflict.

Trump is purely a martyr to the cause. No one believes he has the ability to be the President again. But Flynn and his allies are using him as a “prophet” in a holy war being executed against the United States of America.

In totality, if presented with the voluminous evidence, it’s impossible to see Mike Flynn as anything but an enemy combatant in a literal war against the United States. He is in fact “levying war against them.” Moreover, he is plainly using his military skills as a retired general to provide “aid and comfort” to Putin. To put a fine point on it, Flynn has now adopted the upside down “distress flag” used on J6 as his profile picture.

The Oath that all government employees take refers to protecting the Constitution from “enemies, foreign and domestic.” This is usually seen as a false dichotomy — you’re either a domestic or a foreign threat. In reality, you can be both.

As I wrote, the fifth column that Mike Flynn has been building for Putin since 2015 has shifted operations from clandestine to overt.

Here is former Marine Seth William Baker reporting from the front in Ukraine, while fighting for the Russian military. The reason for his literal treason is that he was fired for not taking the COVID vaccine.

Mike Flynn has been advocating for veterans and active duty military to defy orders and commit mutiny or sedition against their commanders because of the COVID vaccine, which Flynn claims is a Chinese bioweapon, for many months. It appears Seth William Baker was listening.

If Mike Flynn’s propaganda is providing literal soldiers to Putin to kill our allies, how is that not giving “aid and comfort” to the enemy?

We have shifted the Overton Window of acceptable public discourse all the way to “should we just let Putin do whatever he wants and let his agents take over the country?”

We have been been boiled in this pot for so long we’re close to giving up on the basic freedoms we were all granted 250 years ago. We must start calling things what they are. We must start remembering how America started—a reaction to an oppressive, theocratic, fascist dictator who didn’t care about his people.

That’s what our enemies want back. They want to reverse the American Revolution and return us to being a colony — except this time we will be the crown jewel of another oppressive, fascist, dictator’s empire, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.

With all the strength I have remaining, I am here to say, “Hell no.” We need to remember what we are, what we’re fighting, and treat traitors just as they deserve.
