This is a really big deal. The Sovereign Miltary Order of Malta (SMOM) or “Knights of Malta” is a quasi-nation-state that has been operating as an ongoing extension of the Crusades for nearly a thousand years. They have executed and inspired numerous acts of anti-Islamic terrorism, including the mass murders in Oslo, Norway and Christchurch, New Zealand.
