OSINT Toolkit: Approach with caution when it seems too “on the nose.”

Susan appears to have made an emergency trip to take selfies in Peru at my request. KassandraSeven has been dark for five days. Coincidence? Trap? Or just incredibly bad larping?

How stupid can this get? Very. 😒

Look, Susan has made a large investment over six years in creating her “KassandraSeven” LARP and understands that being exposed as a paid character assassin might have a negative impact on her second life as a failed travel blogger.

I’m sure she received a bounty for getting me suspended and appears to be spending some of her hard-earned money on a second trip to Peru to “prove” that it’s impossible for KassandraSeven to be Susan. Yeah, I know…

My only concern is that this is so bumblingly ill-conceived that maybe it’s some kind of trap? 🤷‍♂️

The Setup

I noticed that some of my older trolls are coming at me recently and I realized weaponized professional troll KassandraSeven has been protected and quiet for five days — which is, to say the least, highly unusual for her. My original trolls seem to be taking up her slack.

This is her last tweet — at least unprotected. 🤔

My challenge

Bear with me… Susan was using a couple of completely generic photos of Machu Picchu to claim that she has been in Peru since February 23. KassandraSeven used these photos to make the claim that Susan should be unable to tweet because she was in Peru and therefore they could not be the same person.

So I challenged Susan to prove that she was there.

It can’t be…

So when I saw that KassandraSeven has been dark for five days, I thought “the dumbest thing she could do is take selfies in Peru while KassandraSeven is dark.”

Then I went to Susan‘s instagram:

Sure enough, there she is holding a goat two days ago.

Is she really this dumb?

I don’t know. As I said in the title, I’m cautious here. It’s so ridiculous, so “on the nose,” that I’m waiting to see if she can fix it somehow or will just keep making it worse. 🍿
