Donald Trump’s “RAINY DAY PERADE“ was objectively a mess.
Extremely low turnout, terrible crowd management, mostly disinterested looking soldiers and a frankly unimpressive display of equipment. Trump wanted a North Korean parade and got empty bleachers and 80-year old tanks.
But it was the sponsorship and product placement that really grabbed my attention. First, why are there sponsors for the 250th anniversary of the US Armed Forces at all? But, if you’re going to have branding on your army birthday party, Lockheed Martin makes sense I guess—but then it gets weird.
The event was full of moments like this, a cut from the men and women who swear an oath to give their lives to protect the Constitution, to Coinbase, a monstrous cryptocurrency fraud whose co-founder, former CTO Balaji Srinivasan is the leader of the cult of the “network state.”
The goal of the network state is the disintegration of American government, culture and society, so that billionaires can reconstitute their own private fiefdoms. Crypto itself is a huge fraud to destroy the financial system towards the same goal. So what the hell is the US military doing taking money from an enemy of the United States government?
Coinbase, however, was not the most concerning sponsor. Not only did Palantir have their name plastered all over Trump’s perade, they invited the Chief Technology officer to be a Lt. Colonel in the US Army.
Notice that international terrorist Erik Prince, a long time partner of Palantir founder, fascist oligarch Peter Thiel, is excited to “sign up.” It truly is remarkable how Erik Prince seems to show up in the strangest of places.
Here is a clip from a Ted Talk in 2009 where Peter Thiel talked about the desire for Silicon Valley to get to a “technological singularity,” gave seven potential “disaster” scenarios which might prevent it, and asked the audience which is most likely:
Robots kill or enslave humanity (Skynet)
A pandemic wrecks civilization
Runaway nanotechnology (Gray goo)
Nuclear war
Governments use computers to control everyone
Global warming wrecks civilization
The singularity takes too long to happen
The remarkable thing about this is that Peter Thiel is actively working on accelerating each of these disasters, for fear of the last one where “nothing happens.”
Thiel, Musk and other Silicon Valley fascists have already started to build “Skynet,” now called the “Golden Dome” to satisfy Trump’s narcissism.
Thiel has funded many of the people that RFK Jr. has put in place to destroy our protections against a “pandemic that wrecks civilization.” DOGE fired many of the people who watch over our nuclear weapons program. Thiel infamously despises and attacks climate scientists and activists, including Greta Thunberg in particular, who are trying to prevent “global warming that wrecks civilization.” And Palantir, which Thiel founded with CIA funding six years before his Ted Talk, is literally the “government trying to use computers to control everyone.”
It’s one thing to want to “accelerate” the creation of new technologies. It’s another to deliberately try to create the disasters that supposedly require them. But when the government welcomes it with open arms, we may get all of these disasters at once.
