Poking the Bear: Michael Hastings is a Sensitive Subject for the Flynn Family
A tweet by Joe Flynn starts a blizzard of lies
Five days ago my Radicalized Pod co-host and friend High Fidelity interacted with Mike Flynn’s brother Joe who is an avid reader of this Substack. HiFi asked Joe Flynn about the death of investigative reporter Michael Hastings, and Joe Flynn replied:
“Michael H had some problems with his car that night … Too bad … so sad.”

In any context, Joe Flynn’s tweet mocking the death of a reporter would be sickening. But with the surrounding circumstances of Hastings’s death it was frankly shocking, even for Joe Flynn.
Michael Hastings wrote a book called “The Operators” about the corruption and chaos surrounding Stanley McChrystal and his lieutenants which included both the worst traitor in US history Mike Flynn and Charlie Flynn who commands 90,000 troops at US Army Pacific.
At the same time that Michael Hastings died in a one car crash, Mike Flynn was at GRU headquarters in Moscow for a “leadership conference.”
It was also at the same time that Edward Snowden, an NSA contractor, somehow got into Flynn’s DIA top secret servers to steal military secrets.
My friend Jackie Singh, former Biden campaign cybersecurity senior advisor, wrote an incredible article putting all of this together:
As of this morning Joe Flynn is not only continuing his two-year long harassment but he is accusing me of the same things that were said about Michael Hastings to blame him for his own death — that I smoke too much weed and am mentally ill.
At the same time that Joe Flynn is coordinating with trolls in public to smear and discredit me, the same crew that has been been psychologically assaulting me for 2 1/2 years are in overdrive.
If you have been a reader for more than a few months you will recognize two of the people spreading this pure defamation about me and my cohost. But there is a new guy who has joined in as well, Steven A. Cuevas.
I have never met Steven Cuevas or interacted with him before, but he replied to my tweet linking to Jackie Singh’s brilliant article and began a non-stop flurry of lies and inauthentic accusations that I attempted to respond to until I asked him to stop six times and finally blocked him.
Steven Cuevas used to be a journalist, and claims be working on a podcast that has never materialized. He also demanded to come on my podcast and wanted to bring controlled opposition “QAnon expert” Mike Rothschild who has been harassing me for 2 1/2 years on with him.
While I have no idea what is motivating Steven Cuevas, his lack of employment and his aggressive, blatant op to smear me and my co-host HiFi on the subject of Michael Hastings is suspect, to say the least.
It is notable that single purpose hate account “Dtrumpjrjunior” that has been devoted to psychologically tormenting me for over 2 years — run by failed criminal defense attorney Brad Shuttleworth — is also trying to discredit me and shut down inquiry into Michael Hastings’s death. Shuttleworth is Mike Rothschild’s best friend on Twitter.
Finally, the two people promoting newly adopted low-tier troll Steven Cuevas and long time internet terrorist Brad Shuttleworth are inauthentic operatives that have been running disinformation and malign influence campaigns against the left since 2016.
“Conspirator Norteno” is run by a Canadian Bell IT security specialist who moonlights as a tango musician. He is also responsible for inauthentically getting me banned from Twitter for a year.
“KassandraSeven” is a failed Condé Nast PR executive, and Mike Rothschild’s fourth best friend on Twitter, who has tweeted about me tens of thousands of times in an effort to destroy my ability to speak or make a living.
She started her account in August 2016, just as “Conspirador” did.
Susan Portnoy and Remi Barrette cooperated with Louise Mensch in 2017 to start the Alfa Bank / Trump Tower hoax that started the Durham investigation which was designed to cover up for the theft of the 2016 election, which was executed by Mike Flynn.
The reason I am drawing these connections should be clear.
We poked the bear and it reacted. All parts of it. Because we hit a sore spot.

Every journalist in America should have been horrified at Hasting's death and tenacious in seeking answers.
Instead they went "Oh, he was a pothead" and moved right the hell on.
That was a clue.
