Jim,

You have been integral to me getting out of #QAnon Because *YOU* spotted my fading star in the Twitterverse & did something to help re-light a spark; my mind is free & getting stronger every day, I’m creating a joy filled life & I’m able to talk to other survivors. All because you helped me to get out.

It’s can be painful, scary & isolating at times ~ growth normally is; but I would not go back to Texas, a #QAnon church & an abusive marriage EVER.

I owe you immense thanks & I’m still not going anywhere. One success story means you have been heard & at least for me, made a massive impact. Thank you, my friend. 💗 ~Min

There’s STILL TIME. DEC 11 deadline for state certification of electors. Manual recounts COULD be ordered & implemented before then. MORE NOISE needed.

Do you know David Monje, https://comm.unc.edu/people/department-faculty/david-monje/?

He posted Stolen election 2024 22 hr ago on FB:

“I am asking everyone that thinks the information is credible to get involved.

“To get involved, I believe we need to send letters to Biden and Harris, and news outlets around the country.

“So we can try to get national attention.

“I would like the letter that everyone sends to be the same, I believe it would have more power that way, I think it would show that a majority is united around the same cause.

“Now all we need is a letter.

I would like the letter to be calling on a hand recount in at least all battle ground states.

“If there is proof of fraud or irregularities with the software, but we can't recover the votes it warrants a new election.

“I believe a hand recount will do.

If anyone would like to help come up with the perfect letter, please do.

“Thank you! Have a great day!

👉“We have little time.”

He’s right. We have very little time. But we DO HAVE TIME.

They have won. How long they will be on top, who knows. I fear for a very long time--certainly beyond my lifetime. The right-wing media bubble is too strong. I don't see how we penetrate it. I really do think the whole government structure must fall and be rebuilt. Very hard to do. Thanks for your work.

Trust me. You do NOT want to see the entire government structure fail. They have 2 years and they're going to do as much damage as they can (are you sure you're not on their side?), but there may be some sanity on the part of the Senate repubs. It's too soon to tell and say the end is nigh. Stay strong!

Do you follow Dave Troy? His view is different, no “2 years”, due to the Jan 2 fiscal deadline:

“most dangerous period will be the first six months of 2025, which is when the budget and debt ceiling issues must be addressed. The government runs out of money on January 2. The new Congress will be installed January 3. If no budget or debt ceiling bill is passed by January 2, Secretary Yellen will need to invoke “extraordinary measures” to limit cash expenditures through January 20. Then, a new acting Treasury secretary (probably an extremist aligned with the crash plan) may be installed as soon as January 21. They would then need to oversee Treasury expenditures until the “X-Date” (the actual date of US default, likely in Spring 2025) and give Congress accurate information about status and risks. In the event that no resolution is reached, default will likely occur around May 2025, triggering a global asset meltdown.”

Dave Troy says 'around May 2025'. Bipartisan Policy Center said in April this year "It’s still far too early to have a more detailed sense of timing, but it’s never too soon for policymakers to focus on the looming risks posed by the debt limit or the options to address it well in advance of the next deadline,” said Shai Akabas, BPC’s executive director of economic policy. “A further risk is that we may not even have a confirmed Treasury Secretary early next year, meaning that the Department would need to navigate an extremely precarious situation without a Senate-approved leader at the helm.”

"Beyond usual fluctuations in the federal government’s cash flows, the X Date’s timing will depend heavily on 2025 tax collections and the Treasury Department’s cash on hand. Uncertainty over these two factors is nothing new. Regarding the latter, however, a newly released 2021 Department of Justice legal opinion suggests that Treasury does not plan to deplete its cash reserves in advance of the debt limit’s reinstatement. The Department of Justice finds that Treasury is permitted to maintain a “standard one-week cash balance, adjusted for uncertainty and risk.” (For additional context, when the debt limit was reinstated in August 2021 after a two-year suspension, Treasury had $459 billion in cash on hand.)

"BPC’s projection comes 50 years after the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act was signed into law, and at a time when policymakers are exploring budget process reforms and preparing for next year’s many fiscal deadlines. In addition to addressing the debt limit, Congress will be faced with negotiating annual appropriations, the expiration of enhanced Affordable Care Act subsidies included in the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, and the expiration of several tax provisions included in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017.

“ 'The debt limit is the metaphorical cherry on top of this economic uncertainty driven by fiscal policy, which is why we need the statute to be reformed,' said Akabas.

"Although Congress has, to date, managed to avert the most severe risks associated with the debt limit by raising or suspending it ahead of the X Date, previous debt limit episodes have imposed real costs on everyday Americans. Taxpayers are on the hook for servicing additional interest owed on the national debt, and investors have cast doubt on the creditworthiness of the U.S. government. If not resolved in a timely manner, next year’s debt limit showdown could risk further downgrades and economic disruptions—especially given the significant fiscal cliffs that await.

BPC will update its projections as additional data becomes available."

I've seen guesstimates as late as August 2025. So . . . maybe we'll have a better sense by 2025 Q2 of what damage might be done?

Meanwhile, hope you've maybe already sent your own letter -- maybe echoing Jackie Singh's, of Monday last week? -- to Biden & Harris urging them to order a manual recount so if (as many suspect) Harris/Walz actually won both popular vote & EC delegates, but election fraud changed the tabulated outcome, then if that's proved by a manual count of paper ballots vs electronic tabulations, maybe full surrender at High Noon on Jan 20 might be averted?

This is gonna sound weird but I think I’m gonna go shooting with my maga-ish gun friend of 20 years. I’m not dumb. I want all of them in my side. He cares about me & shows it every day at work. Same with all the other dudes I work with. And I’m pretty sure they did not roll with Kamala. But these are the people we want on our team. The ones that still know right from wrong. I promise they do! I processed the election loss best I could but seeing the response is the biggest nightmare I never imagined. And to the folks hating on other voters…..that’s your demise. Thank you Jim for your bravery & honesty every damn day.

And if they voted for Orange Jesus, there's going to be a hell of a lot of bad shit coming down on ALL of us sooner rather than later. They may "care for you" until shit hits the fan. Why are you even a Dem is what I don't understand. If they are your only friends, I can understand your rationalization, but otherwise.... Human rights were on the line in this election. And they're getting hatred and disgust and rejection precisely because that's the kind of shit they've been throwing our way this whole time. We tried to tell them. They chose to believe lies. It's not "our demise" FFS.

We boomers remember when women gained the right to have a credit card, birth control and say no to sex WITHOUT asking a man for permission.

We boomers grew up without technology thus dependent on social skills to navigate human interaction.

We boomers learned how to cook, sew and read maps.

When it all goes to shit & you are unable to sit in the safety of your home and have everything delivered to you so easily ask a boomer how to survive.

I've written a letter for incoming Senate majority leader Thune, that I will share here for comments and maybe we can pass this idea onto others who might either copy this letter or better yet write their own and send it to him. One letter is certainly not going to make any difference ot maybe even be read by him, but maybe if we can chain out and get a few hundred or more. I don't know, just running this idea by folks here to see what y'all think:

Dear Senator Thune,

Congratulations on your election as the incoming Senate Majority Leader.

I admired your courageous initial statement regarding January 6th, which I believe was well-founded. Your leadership demonstrated remarkable commitment to upholding the Constitution.

Now, as you assume the constitutionally vital role of Senate Majority Leader in this crucial time in our nation's history, I urge you to show the same courage and leadership to prioritize the Senate's constitutional duty to advise and consent on presidential cabinet nominations. Your leadership will have a profound impact on shaping the nation's future.

I implore you to resist potential pressure from President Trump to call a recess, allowing him to make recess appointments that bypass the Senate's advise and consent role. This would undermine the Senate's vital responsibility and, given some of Trump's initial nominations, potentially threaten national security, the rule of law, and the nation's health and wellbeing.

Very legitimate concerns surround several of President Trump's cabinet choices, not the least of which being:

- Tulsi Gabbard: Her promotion of Kremlin talking points, ties to Russian state propaganda outlet RT and membership in a religious cult raise very significant national security concerns about the possibility of her being in charge of our intelligence agencies

- Matt Gaetz: His support for overturning the 2020 election results, request for a presidential pardon and ongoing ethics investigation warrant serious concern about his commitment to the rule of law.

- RFK Jr.: His lack of medical expertise, propensity for conspiracy theories, and questionable ethical past make him unsuitable for a cabinet position, especially considering the critical nature of public health decisions.

It's essential to recognize that considerable resistance from Democrats or even some Republican Senators regarding these picks doesn't represent illegitimate "obstructionism" but rather a constitutional duty to scrutinize nominees thoroughly.

In upholding the Senate's advise and consent role, you'll be doing the right thing, standing on the right side of history, and earning the support of tens of millions of Americans concerned about a second Trump administration and its authoritarian ambitions.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]

You might be surprised at the influence and effect you have had on the world.

You might get to understand it in this life but mostly after.

You really took on quite the challenge. Were you like me? Volunteering for the hardest destiny ever? Was you hand way up like mine? Nuts.

I figure intelligence exists, our souls are energy and eternal. You came with extra spirit because you have documented something so important that we need it in a book to warn furture generations ?

(History). You are pretty.darn.important.

You are an intelligent warrior.

You also remember the vision of this country before this happened as well. Please preserve it using your talent, while you can.

Preserve & Publish. I will buy the first copies.

And lastly, you made a kick ass difference to me! I was wandering around, could not figure out why I could not find peace with any of this crap. Then I found you. I read your story. I was inspired.

Never doubt for a millisecond!

Merely ask yourself ‘what is next?’

I know I must have health insurance that accepts pre-existing conditions. I need to be somewhere else by end of 2025 on a path to a life with healthcare( I am retired).

Everyone has to figure out:

Is staying the same worse than changing?

You sir have awards from around the world. Keep going onward! You are covered in talent. Write the screenplay for the academy award, from Eze, France or the Barbados while you stay at Cobblers Cove. They need some good press so write them up in exchange for the stay(?)

I bet you can think of a million stories from all this stuff the last nine years! Especially the really stunning shocking unbelievable crap from insanely stupid people.

Never forget the really good community you befriended and supported.

If you have kids, they learn do much from travel. Take your family with you. Lay in the sun and write while drinking rum punches.

There is a distillery there (Barbados)who makes fabulous rum in a Jacobean House that needs proper photography ( stunning house and English garden) and the documentation of their compelling & inspiring story is onsite. Very nice folks.

Jim. Take off with your loved ones for a break for all those you love. If you need help financially, let’s do a gofundme.

If you are really adventuresome and don’t have family to worry about you, go to Ukraine and please write their stories. They need to be told. They should be photographed. Take their portraits. Tell us something that defines them. (I wish I could do this♾️ I love portrait photography!)

This is the ultimate purpose.

Dare to report the real news to the people of the world.

This is compelling, holds a purpose greater than oneself or even art. Everyone is afraid of dying without having mattered or spoken their mind.

The meaning of this will reveal itself.

If it were me -alone- I swear I would be sprinting for the airport. This is exciting JFC!

Preserve the memories of these fantastic people if possible.

They will share so they will not be forgotten.

Tell their stories.

Stories have change individuals, families, communities…and the world.

for me:

I am looking at the countries with villages that might inspire me

back to art in photography and illustration.( and a residency program with universal healthcare available)

Even to move to most countries and not have insurance - omg- our drugs and treatments are cheaper everywhere else, in other countries while we pay through the nose in

The US!

Although it will be my granddaughters fighting for their own rights now — I did fight.

ALL.MY.LIFE.

( viciously sometimes because I started out in engineering in ‘84, when women were typically paid less than 1/2 of what a man earned and I was always training these high earning men)

My job was to fight to prove my competence and always to know which person had the power.(by observation).

Sometimes. Back in the day if corporations, like when I needed the purchasing people to move out of my earshot ( phone 💯 of the time and I was an application designer- a quiet girl). I found an empty big room and sold it as a big upgrade for purchasing with an elegant place for those people to move their offices (and loud mouths)and a reason that would make the person in charge look like a hero to his boss. Then I dropped the idea in his lap and watched him run with it. I would never speak of it again. I giggled when purchasing had to move. Jerks.

I learned to fight quite smartly & sometimes I won.

I just did not have the resources to win this.

I have been devastated.

At my age? You breathe in, decide what you are going to do with the next mement.

You fight to stay present.

My female child voted for Satan but my granddaughters are very intelligent and quick. I keep telling them to learn foreign languages. I fear the War for them but if anyone has to fight, those girls are tough. I would always want them on my side.

Jim, I always read everything you write. I enjoy your work. Please keep creating!

I personally feel like Sarah Conner.( Terminator). I am running out of time trying to stay ahead of danger, trying to protect my c@grandchildren to ensure they get a chance.

Yes I am technically old but inside my head I am the eternal college student, backpack and Levi’s.

I am capable of being part of the #Resistance. I have many skills.

I will find a way to fight accurately , quietly and elegantly. I hope.

I just need some rest.
