Jordan Green, like so many journalists, reports on stuff I exposed months or years ago, and calls it “#Exclusive”. Whatever.
#Exclusive: 1/ Audio obtained by @RawStory captures a social media strategist who mobilized Trump supporters to go to DC on Jan. 6 signaling he was aware of plans by militia groups during a conference call a week before the siege of the Capitol.
Here’s the same recording edited for Twitter.
Here’s where it got nearly a million views.
Just days before J6, Jason Sullivan, a former aide to Roger Stone, held a conference call to help organize it where he said Trump will not allow Biden to take office and will declare a “limited form of martial law.” This call was reported on by the NYT. This is the actual call.
I started yelling about Jason Sullivan in October 2020 while he was running a LARP on Twitter that got information from Ezra Cohen-Watnick called “ETheFriend.” I have tracked every move he’s made since.
So I’m glad the press is finally catching up, and I don’t care about credit, but please give me a break with your “exclusives” and just report the facts.
Independent journalism ... with rigidly scrutinized ethical standards for truth and objectivity (Columbia Journalism Review style) ... should be federally subsidized. There should be a generous, robust grant program for independent journalists. This would do more than PBS, NPR, and C-SPAN can do. We need to expand the concept of the fourth estate, which should never have been captured by profit-oriented institutions. Roy Edroso's Substack this morning got me thinking along these lines.
The incurious will ALWAYS steal from the curious. How else would they keep their phony baloney jobs? The pressure must be enormous.
