As a geopolitical experiment in weaponizing the internet, what we’re watching is fascinating. Elon Musk and his collaborators are using his website and his obscene wealth to create an alternate reality in which he is the real President who makes decrees by tweetstorm.

One of the ways you can look at what he’s doing is a Soviet theory of information warfare called reflexive control which is about creating an environment which inclines people “to voluntarily make the predetermined decision.”

Of course, the key word there is “voluntarily” — which is problematic since the point of this tactic is to make the voluntary involuntary.

All of us are going to be the targets of this unfettered attack on our personal realities. Let’s talk about how it works — and how to defend ourselves and our loved ones.
