I recall from watching the documentary Shoah that the Nazis essentially used the wealth they stole from Jews to pay for their passage on the trains to the concentration camps. Is the Trump regime stealing money from the deportees?
Another incredibly important thing to note: Chicago, NYC, LA have something else in common besides being democratic strongholds. I worked as a freight broker for some years and these are THE transportation hubs, along with Houston, which is already (technically) under his control. If micro-penis gets hold of these cities, be prepared for a chokehold on food/products going to any state that defies him. KCMO is also big (or at least it used to be) for freight, but since the GOP have a super majority in the state they won't be able to fight back much.
Another great red alert. Hopefully civilian police in Illinois will be able to keep some control over any rogue Texas national guard wandering around their cities. Individuals (alone or in groups) from Texas wearing Texas National Guard costumes or real uniforms would not seem to have any special legal status if they are not legally activated by a request of the governor. If that holds, hopefully Pritzker will assign his civilian police to cite them for any individual firearm violations, like open carry, large capacity magazines, licensing requirements, etc. During this process some weapons may need to be confiscated and tickets, court dates and bail set through regular processes. Hopefully this is being considered as people from Texas are unlikely to be knowledgeable of or following Illinois and Chicago firearms laws.
Jay Walking, Parking, Authorized licensed vehicles, littering, moving vehicle violations could all be citations in play. Impersonating law enforcement; that’s probably illegal too?
We may be shaped by history to some degree. (Some people are much more personally affected than others.) We are not, however, bound to repeat it. History, not flints, not armaments, is the present tool we need to use for human evolution. The best of us are informed by it in order to prevent repeated occurrences of experiences we do not want: forewarned is forearmed. At least we do not go backward when we do not repeat the mistakes of the past. The best of us are using our intelligence and creativity to invent better windmills instead of raging against them. The worst of us want to distort history while using the excuse of crimes committed by others to commit crimes of their own. Which part of humanity wins is now up for grabs. Will the best in us overcome the worst in us? Will we start working together to put our children's future first rather than energizing and falling prey to instant gratification and superficial egoism?
Man, this is scary shit. You already pointed at it, but it can become infinitely worse - what if the trains work like clockwork, but the 'detention centers' can not handle the train loads?
We know how this simple, earthly logistics problem led the Nazis to their final solution.
Excuse my self-promotion here, but like I said in one of my posts before Trump even started his second term - Trump is following the roadmap to Genocide...
Also, here's a vid from two citizens who just captured views of the new CoreCivic concentration camp in the remote Mojave desert, California. This sure as hell doesn't look like a temporary detention site. It is however, a perfect representation of where all of our taxpayer money is being wasted...
I desperately wish regular Americans understood that we could literally bring this fascist takeover of our country to its knees in at most a month, far more likely in a week.
If even just 60% of regular Americans all banded together and ended our Amazon memberships, subscription services, boycotted ALL corporations, only spent money locally, threatened to cash out all of our investments, and walked off our jobs en masse, it would shut this fucking country down.
In fact, it would devastate the global economy overall. Remember, billionaires and millionaires make NOTHING if WE don't buy their shit and pay for their services. Furthermore, most of their wealth is tied up in the market. If the market crashes, they lose massive portions of THEIR wealth.
There's just one catch though. In order for this to work, we must have as many Americans as possible fully commit to the cause and follow through. Not just for a day though, but rather for as long as it takes. If not, they will divide and conquer. But if we get it done, it will finally expose the truth that they don't actually have any power at all.
WE HAVE ALL THE POWER, if we actually wake up, sack up, and use it…
For the most part, I agree, but you're talking about a helluva amount of sacrifice the majority of Americans are unwilling (and some unable) to do. Most folks I know have difficulty making a simple sacrifice like just providing a ride or a meal to an acquaintance in need even once, let alone a stranger. Think about something as simple as a strike. You have to have some $$ and resources ready in order to sustain it, and of course, the commitment. I don't think the average American quite understands yet what is about to happen. They still believe they are watching the Titanic, not on board themselves. I'm pretty committed but even so, I'm not prepared to lose shelter for my family unless it comes to the point where we absolutely must burn it all down.
Not willing to nuke everything to get rid of some carpenter ants. If everything is to be torn down, there needs to be something ready to go that will replace it. We still have a structure, imperfect though it might be, that is worth preserving if only for the sake of stability until something better is constructed.
Everyone, please share this post widely. It is an eyes wide open distillation and it’s worrying that there are not more likes and comments. I am in a noncooperation group (through MoveOn and Indivisible) and folks in a call last week wondered when it would be time to act. Maybe I misinterpreted and they were referring to mass action—which needs to be coordinated and strategic to succeed —and not individual action. We have numbers on our side if people don’t stand idly on the sidelines.
I'm astounded by the insightfulness of your writing and analysis, Jim. It's not just connecting dots but rather seeing with crystal clarity what is unfolding right in front of our eyes, complete with historical references. I'm very concerned that this regime may well succeed due to the apathy, distraction and indifference that are ubiquitous in American society. It's a five-alarm fire, where is everybody?
Sometimes animals are smarter than human animals. They know what to do. They don't doubt. They don't second guess. They don't study the situation. They don't hesitate when the lives of their offspring are at stake.
Thank you Jim. Perhaps it’s insane to still hope for a mutiny within the military…? First they yeet Hegs & his top level dipshits, then storm the castle…?
Apart from everything- in this time - where many are fighting for democracy- the one important thing is sticking together - whether in Canada / US or any other country understanding the need to fight for democracy
Jim, I appreciate that you get to the root of what’s happening. There’s so much noise right now and you funnel down to the pertinent issues. I wonder if people in the military are conflicted about what they’re being asked to do. I have to imagine that many are. We need to be prepared and join together in a massive movement. I don’t want to look back and regret not doing more.
I think the few folks who have the where with all to question their orders are going to keep their heads down. The military is a very 'alpha' culture, they are trained to act, not think.
Thanks for another brilliant post. As always, you are ahead of the curve. Understanding what’s going on is key to fighting it. Thanks for your continued courage, grit and leadership.

JFC! Didn’t Eric ‘Blackwater’ Prince say he’d do something like this? He and Mike Flynn have been pretty quiet for a while.
Yes, he is proposing detention centers to hold up to 100,000 (detainees/prisoners) in El Salvador.
Now there's a 1984 name for a profit-making company if ever I heard one: CoreCivic
And Geo? That means earth
So I think we know where this totalitarianism is heading...everywhere unless WE stop it.

This is a better solution for me: unify-usa.org

Most independent journalists are simply reacting to the news, and legacy media isn't even doing that. You are ahead of the curve.
PAY ATTENTION PEOPLE. THE FUTURE IS GRIM. THIS IS NOT HYPERBOLE.
