The Legislative Branch is more than “divided”
Perennial stumblefuck Kevin McCarthy thinks life is going to be grand now that the “House Republicans are ready to deliver.”
Deliver what exactly?
Kevin McCarthy said in 2016 that “Putin pays” “Rohrabacher and Trump.” Presumably he knew that was generally frowned upon, but it took feckless shitwit Paul Ryan to interject and remind his colleagues “no leaks” because “that’s how we know we’re a real family here.“
That was the moment the GOP made a deal with the devil — two GOP leaders choosing to allow Russian influence in their party in order to avoid negative consequences for themselves.
In reality, what has happened is that a pro-Putin death cult has taken over half of the Legislative Branch. Now completely untethered to reality, or allegiance to country, the GOP is going to spend two years destroying everything pro-democracy they can get their hands on, including Ukraine.
This is the real Republican Party.
We’ve reached a strange part of the timeline where there really are two coexisting realities in the country, and now in Congress. One in which people are trying to hold on to the the Rule of Law and democracy, and another where owning the libs and spreading Kremlin propaganda is the most important thing they can possibly do.
We have a national case of cognitive dissonance — two coexisting and competing realities — Schrödinger’s Coup.
In quantum physics, coexisting realities “collapse the waveform” in order to “decide” what pathway is real in this particular dimension. In the famous thought experiment, Schrödinger’s Cat is both alive and dead at the same time until a random atomic reaction occurs and determines its fate.
America is pretty much this cat I’m afraid. I’m rooting for it. 🙀
