The thing is, we all rely in a meaningful way on the same platforms (like this one) that are being increasingly compromised by AI-driven synthetic tools. They are essential to all of us in organizing, advocating, debating, learning and questioning.
I no longer am confident that I can distinguish between synthetic and real content produced by human beings. I suspect many of you are in a similar place.
Now scientists and researchers are sounding the alarm that emerging “AI swarm” capacity is a next level development that we have never seen or experienced before. They argue that the midterms and civic engagement are now under serious new threat.
I have been following your writing on this issue, as well as others who share your view — you are in good company. Why do I have this nagging feeling that this drive for a crash is an intentional plot hatched by the Trump regime, big AI tech, and Wall Street insiders? Does Theil's move to Argentina have anything to do with this? I feel like THEY want to crush the American people, and the world at the same time.
