1340 in my small, very red community came out to hear speeches and protest. Indivisible sponsored and well-organized. Several vets spoke; we pledged allegiance to the flag and sang the National Anthem and America. Local law enforcement protected us, and we were respectful and civil. When I left, there was still a large crowd carrying signs at the main highway, getting mostly positive honks and waves. Bodes well, I think, especially if you know our county. If you have an afternoon event you can attend, GO! Please, go! Standing together is how we keep our nation for the citizens, not the oligarchs and technocrats. Go!
Tonight on MSNBC with Ali Velshi: “Every day we must evaluate what options/openings/tactics are available to us and USE THEM. Tomorrow we may no longer have the right to gather in large groups (rallies) or perhaps no longer have access to social media (like this). Use every tool at your disposal every day to defend your/our rights.
Some of our most courageous veterans have broken through barriers at The Capitol Building for a sit-in protest on the steps and are being arrested tonight. Stand with them tomorrow and show our strength in numbers. Be careful out there.
YES! So many people forget that. And the veterans and military have been gaslighted into believing he never said it. We need a video compilation of Trumps put downs of our military people.
Edit; A fellow veteran has pointed out to me how this could be taken wrong. We don't want our soldiers and sailors, to think we are calling them suckers and losers. Many people still hate veterans, just like they did during Vietnam.
If Trump truly had the support of the military, wouldn't he have called them to march on the capitol on January 6th?

Made my “No Kings” poster. I’ll be there at 1030am. First protest I’ve been to since the ‘80s against apartheid. I’m not dead yet!!! ✊✊🏿✊🏻✊🏽
U.S., you know -- shithead Donnie has got to go!

March peacefully No Kings No Tyranny
Be sure to refer to Trump's parade as his Suckers and Losers Parade. That's what he thinks of the military.

Protest NOW while you still can. We are in for a long battle to get rid of the "VERMIN" presently in power. (Trump's vernacular)
