Hi Dee,
I remember those “reasonable conversations” too! I think you are doing a little reimagining about the “cater to his ego” thing, although I do realize that I tend to over-vigorously defend my “interpretation of things” sometimes. I apologize if I seemed arrogant at any point — not my intent at all. I’m working on it.
Anyway, I’m not trying to start a fight with you or call you out. Since I have no other way to communicate with people on Twitter, I figured I’d send you a “DM” this way.
If I recall, we never had a fight, and you never told me directly why you suddenly blocked and started trolling me. I do know that you had contact with QuacksAnonymous / Jason Miller and became very angry with me out of the blue, especially concerning my pointing out connections to Satanism in QAnon.
As I have said, I have no problem with Satanists or Satanism, much less Pagans or Paganism. I do not paint everyone with the same brush at all. I have a devoted Pagan cousin in England, fwiw, and occultist friends in several flavors. And I’m well aware there are good and bad people who participate in every belief system.
But, just as I pointed out the fascist Catholic orders connected to the operators of QAnon, not because they’re Catholic but because they’re fascist, I think it’s relevant to do the same for dangerous parts of occult belief systems — for example, the I AM cult, and the OTO. It’s not personal, it’s just part of the work.
Sorry for reaching out publicly this way. My email is available on my about page and as you know I’m on LinkedIn if you want to reply in private — but no pressure to do so.
Peace, Jim
SpiralDee
“Trafficking in Propaganda” is the correct justice department terminology that discerns ever single bit of how the United States moved away from the Belmont Report. Now we all get to go beck to some teeth into the world of trafficking and practice the ethics already discerned from the Belmont Report. It was already commissioned and discerned.
I’m from a family of Jesuit Priest and Sacred Heart Nuns so every once and a while I can get a little preachy about this part as well.
