Musk replied a few minutes ago via tweet with a denial of the Vice story. Said he last spoke w/Putin 18 months ago and the subject matter was space. Twitter users are asking the Vice author and his source for clarification on the reporting. So far there has been no response from Vice, the author, or the source in response to Musk’s denial.
