Surreal: The Death Star Is Complete

Have you ever had a nightmare come true?

1,663 days ago I set out to figure out QAnon and try to do something about it because within 15 minutes of looking at it, I could see that it was dangerous, growing, and ready for violence. It was obviously a cult, and it was using my old work to lure people into it. I was aware of General Mike Flynn as a guy Trump tried to hire and had serious Putin problems but I had no particular interest at the time. Since then, I’ve probably learned more about Mike Flynn than he knows about himself.

Within a few days it was clear that “Q” was not a random troll, and “QAnon” — which is largely a media-constructed nickname — was not a random group of 8chan addicts as had been portrayed over and over in the press. As I wrote in August 2020, it was a death cult — and Mike Flynn was behind it.

Six months later, after warning about J6 — weeks before it happened — it happened, which we spent four years trying to get justice for.

The Biden administration’s alternate reality was four years of hell. I won’t sugarcoat it. Me, and the small group of patriots that have had the fortitude to stand up to the abuse, have suffered the kind of insane personal, coordinated, dirty attacks that you hear about in national politics. All through it, we warned, and warned. Nevertheless, here we are.

Mike Flynn’s friends — to include a man who sued me in federal court because Flynn’s own frivolous defamation suit didn’t make me stop, and will now control the full federal investigatory power of the United States at FBI — have infested the Cabinet. Tulsi Gabbard, RFK Jr., Pete Hegseth, and now Kash Patel as FBI Director are building a QAnon government in any other name.

This is… nuts.

Kash Patel promoted Q for years, and was promoted by Q in 2018 in return.

Kash Patel’s mission is the same as Q, because it’s the same as Mike Flynn’s. They want to destroy the “Deep State” with “retribution” aka “The Storm” which, in many versions of QAnon lore, means executing “pedophiles” — which happen to all be Democrats.

Kash Patel will be a name to remember, that’s for sure. He will be remembered as someone who made J. Edgar Hoover look like Lyndon Johnson.

He will feel completely unconstrained to surveil, harass and persecute enemies of the state. He will break down the ability of the United States to protect itself from crime and terrorism. He is a gaslighting, foreign-owned psychopath who will cause countless deaths. He is the final cog in a Death Star that will destroy not just America but the world.

This is him. 3 weeks ago. With a QAnon shirt on. Hugging a long-time QAnon promoter, who is now Mike Flynn Jr.’s girlfriend — after Mike Jr. left his wife and son.

It’s absurd that an event so cataclysmic to humanity — the seizing of US power to attack our own allies and our own citizens — has to come in such a ridiculous package. As an example of what happens when you put Mike Flynn’s friends in the Cabinet, here is Tulsi Gabbard, who is in a Hare Krishna derived cult run by a homophobic guru who makes his followers eat his toenails (no, really).

Tulsi Gabbard is mentally ill and has no ability or desire to distinguish truth from lies. Every word of her diatribe is direct Russian propaganda. She’s been friends with Mike Flynn for years since she was a Democrat in Hawaii. He wanted her to be Vice President instead of JD Vance. Now she has 18 intelligence agencies to loot of our secrets, weaponize against our citizens and allies — or just destroy because they’re too effective in preserving national security.

Regardless, the corporate media still insists on sanewashing everything. She’s “unorthodox” all right.

It is nothing short of an out-of-body experience, watching the death of a 250-year old experiment in democracy, happening on our watch, after spending so much time trying and failing to tell people exactly what would happen.

Imagine a world where the Grim Reaper of democracy makes an impassioned plea to preserve the system he worked so hard to destroy. And then votes “Yes” on Kash Patel. We are truly in the Upside Down, upside down.

Mitch McConnell is retiring so he can watch the Death Star he helped build remake the world in the image of Vladimir Putin and Elon Musk — whether he, or we, like it or not.

The only word for it is surreal. We need to fight fire with fire. We need a Project 2026, that’s just as ruthless as theirs, to reclaim the territory our enemies paid to win. But we cannot go back to the system that allowed all of this to happen.

We need our own Death Star.
