I must confess that I, an English major and compulsive grammarian, did not know that deprave was a verb. Always amazed by how much I learn from your writing, Jim. Thanks again!
So... what I genuinely wanna know is when are we gonna finally quit piddle-fucking around with pointless 2 hour protests and single day "boycotts", and instead finally put our true power together and shut this entire goddamn system the fuck down hard?
That means something like:
Mass job walkoffs and strikes across the board save for hospitals and locally owned businesses
Actual boycotts of EVERYTHING that any goddamn corporate conglomerate sells or provides that isn't absolute necessity.
Full cessation of ALL rent, mortgage, vehicle, credit card, loan, and tax payments.
And finally, combined local mass organization to take back the power and establish our list of demands while setting up local means of commerce to feed and sustain people.
Ultimately, it should be implemented in stages that grow more impactful the longer we're ignored so as not to immediately crash everything and unleash pure anarchy. Stage 1 should be the widespread boycott of EVERY corporate behemoth, specifically the ones that are funding our collective demise.
If step 1 doesn't scare them shitless, then we set a timeline for stage 2 and put them on notice.
I mean honestly, what the fuck are we doing??? We're all sitting back and watching as the wealthiest, most evil pieces of shit on this planet rob us blind, entrench their power, and openly laugh in our fucking faces while we look on like helpless fools ....
Now that I've got that rant out of the way and temporarily lowered the blood pressure a few points, here's another little gem from Propagandhi that they wrote in 1996. Like most punk music, it's only grown more relevant with age...
'And We Thought Nation States Were A Bad Idea'
"Publicly subsidized! Privately profitable!"
The anthem of the upper-tier, puppeteer untouchable.
Focus a moment, nod in approval,
Bury our heads back in the bar-codes of these neo-colonials.
Our former nemesis, the romance of the nation state,
Now plays fundraiser for a new brand of power-concentrate.
Try again, but now we're confused; what is "class war"?
Is this class war? Yes, this is class war.
And I'm just a kid.
I can't believe I gotta worry about this kind of shit.
What a stupid world.
And it's beautiful,
No regard for principle.
What a stupid world.
Born, hired, disposed.
Where that job lands, everybody knows.
You can tell by the smile on the CEO,
Environmental restraints are about to go.
You can bet laws will be set
To ensure the benefit
Of unrestricted labour laws,
Kept in place by displaced government death squads.
They own us.
They own us.
Produce us.
Consume us.
They own us.
They own us.
Produce us.
Consume us.
Can you fucking believe?
What a stupid world.
Fuck this bullshit display of class-loyalties.
The media and "our" leaders wrap it all up in a flag, shit-rag, hooray.
If freedom means Anarchy for the rich, it’s never been compatible with the rule of law. Liberty is often considered consent to be governed by law and not tyrants.
All Thiel is saying is freedom for him is not compatible with rules or with liberty for others. If others have agency, he is not free to do whatever he wants, and that perturbs him, so he prefers a system where only he has agency.
Philosophically, this isn’t that deep. However, it is an anti-social perspective that has no place in civilized society under any political structure post genghis Kahn.
In the Middle Ages Thiel’s so nostalgic for he would have been wrapped in wet tarps and slowly burned at the stake doe his sexual preferences. There’s nothing intellectually honest about “philosophy” promulgated by fascists. It’s all a means to an end, which is individual dominance. Taking it seriously and reading it too deeply is largely folly.
Thank you! You are a real hero for writing this while democrats were largely hypnotized by live deconstruction of letters on a building that never should have been there in the first place and didn’t even have a marching band. This was the story, and it’s horrific. What an egregious scam. Bernie Madoff eat your heart out.
When things make no sense to me I ask myself how could these things be arranged to make sense…one possible explanation is the world has plenty of fresh water and food and medicine but just not for 8 billion people. If the world were only 3 billion people…how to reduce population 🤔
I agree with your assessment of the situation and your conclusion.
The complete lawlessness of this administration is setting a bad example for an already struggling and frustrated nation.

We need a reality show where Elon Musk has to survive on just 14 dollars for the rest of his pathetic wyte life. 🍿

ThankQ Jim, spot on as usual 🎯
Do you think Peter Diamandis is consciously a grifter. I’m still not sure what to think about him.
I went and counted the rockets on Elon’s ex page. I saw he had 13 then he had another post with 13 and then the post before it he had 14.
I wonder if he modified it after seeing your article ha ha.
