Therefore, if I am just "barking up the wrong tree" and our own intelligence agencies played absolutely NO part in any of his operations, then that only leaves 2 other possibilities as I see it.
1. The only possible reason I can come up with to justify that gross inaction is that either they were complicit in his dealings or, our intelligence agencies have been compromised to some degree or another for decades now.
No matter which of these possible scenarios happens to be true, I strongly believe that these are questions that are vital to speculate on. Failing to do so wouldn't solve anything if in fact there is truth to any of them.

Probably because Bill Clinton and other Democrats are also in the Epstein files that they didn't pursue it fully. Plus the systemic implications could tank the dollar and America so Biden et al probably didn't want to touch that.
I think that there's so much dirt in the files that it would bring down many governments and economies. That's why they're fighting so hard.
