The first, when I realized Rump's second term was going to be hard core fascist, was when his regime offered the 'buyout' to all federal workers back in late January. That got me out talking to friends about forming a local activist group, which is still getting off the ground but which will ramp up over the next few months.
Now that the round-ups of green card holders and others (without due process), is occurring, another 10 yard line has been breached. More like we're on the 50 yard line at this point! I think when his threats against the press turn from insane ramblings to active suppression, we'll be another 20 yards towards the fascists goal line.
When that red line is crossed I will be ready to head to DC with hopefully millions of others. I don't want to lose my new part-time professional job that I really like, but keeping our Democratic-Republic is clearly more important.

I have screamed from the rooftops; alienated friends and family; called Congress (both chambers); mailed postcards; spent a mountain of money to support pro-democracy candidates and people like yourself; boycotted every single company that donated to Trump's campaign — what else can I do?
Health issues prohibit me from participating in peaceful protests. The danger is real; it's imminent; and we have been living it for 10 years.
I think it is essential that we not only decide what we ourselves will do, but talk with like-minded resisters in your neighborhood/community to figure out in advance how you as a group want to handle things. If we don't do this, they will pick us off one by one. Are troops coming down your street looking for trans people, immigrants, etc to arrest? Have a phone tree to alert everyone in your group, and have plans on how to hide people or help them get away. Are fascist wannabes checking houses and taking food/water? What's your community plan to hide supplies? We must stick together.

I feel like one good National disaster (or even a percieved one) and Martial Law will be implemented.

62 here and I live in BFE Northern California, no one will see me but I’ll still try my best to spread the word and support people who do the same!

The talk of impeaching judges, is copied from Birchers in the 60s who wanted Earl Warren impeached, for the Brown v Board of Ed decision.
This played into distrust of the Warren Commission (JFK investigation).
The question is, what can I do here in the middle of Pennsyltucky? I'm not giving up, just looking for something do-able.
