On December 18th, 2020, a loud, chaotic meeting took place in the White House that meandered through the building with a rotating cast of characters over the course of more than four hours.
During this meeting the then-President of the United States conspired with anti-democratic operatives from inside and outside the government to plan a violent insurrection of the Capitol on January 6th. They started in the Oval Office, moved to the Cabinet Room and finally, the Residence.
This meeting was widely reported but mostly misunderstood. The purpose of the gathering was to shift the strategy to overturn the election from Plan A to Plan B which they immediately started planning and executing:
“Big protest in DC on January 6th. Be there, will be wild!”

The participants are frantic. They have received bad news.
The original plan to overthrow the election is not going to work. The intelligence community is not willing to corroborate manufactured “evidence” of election fraud. The ODNI Report they need to support re-running the election is delayed without a projection date. There is a palpable sense of anger, confusion and desperation in the room.
The President of the United States, having lost a free and fair election six weeks before, has gathered his lieutenants to figure out how to fix the plan to keep himself in power — at all costs.
Trump wants to know: What is Plan B?

The fact this group of people were in the White House discussing the overthrow of the government represents a titanic failure of our entire system. Nevertheless, here are the people who were in the room(s) at at different times.
Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America
The second son of racist New York City slumlord Fred Trump, Donald Trump took over the family business in the 1970s and extracted himself from a series of financial disasters by becoming heavily dependent on Russian money and transnational organized crime. He was the perfect asset for Vladimir Putin.
For four years, Trump tore at the fabric of democracy from the inside out, turned the American public against itself, negligently allowed hundreds of thousands to die by weaponizing a pandemic, and got impeached twice in the process, once for trying to compromise Ukrainian President Zelenskyy.
The Meeting is an existential moment for Trump because he knows if the plan doesn’t work he is likely to go to prison for the rest of his life.
Mike Flynn, Retired Army Lt. General
Mike Flynn grew up in a family of nine kids. Always a bully and a manipulator, he ultimately made his way to the apex of military intelligence — the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). He was elevated to this position after several tours running special operations against civilian populations, including PSYOP in Iraq and Afghanistan. He worked extensively with Erik Prince and Blackwater there.
In 2014, Barack Obama fired Mike Flynn and later warned Trump that Flynn was compromised.
Flynn met with Putin in 2015 and has been running psychological warfare tactics on American citizens ever since. This includes stealing the 2016 election, MAGA3X, Pizzagate, QAnon, the insurrection and the fascist cult that has captured 30% of America.
Donald Trump pardoned Mike Flynn a few weeks before The Meeting — and on the same day Flynn was pardoned, Trump gave Mike’s brother Charles Flynn a fourth star and a position that would allow him to interfere with the defense of the Capitol — which he did.
Like Trump, Flynn was certain that The Meeting was do or die for him. He was ready to use any levers he had available to ensure that Donald Trump would remain President to keep his mission moving forward and to save his own skin.

Patrick Byrne, former CEO Overstock.com, billionaire
Patrick Byrne was the flamboyant CEO of an online shopping company before he had an affair with Russian spy Maria Butina in 2019. Butina was arrested and charged and immediately thereafter Byrne began to cooperate with Mike Flynn and others to finance propaganda operations. For example, Byrne spent $3M of his own money to fund the CyberNinjas audit in Arizona.

Sidney Powell, Mike Flynn and (briefly) Trump’s lawyer
Sidney Powell was a relatively unaccomplished lawyer before QAnon — representing the executives of Enron was her previous career highlight. After making a name for herself on the QAnon circuit, however, she was hired by Mike Flynn to be his defense lawyer. Flynn used the money from his defense fund to pay her, a fund set up the month before “Q” started and filled with millions of dollars by QAnon cult members.
Powell managed, with the help of Bill Barr’s DOJ, to get Flynn out of a criminal prosecution to which he had already confessed and signed a cooperation agreement.
The goal of Mike Flynn’s group was to install Sidney Powell as White House General Counsel and put Flynn in charge of re-running the election.
Rudy Giuliani, former Mayor of New York, Trump lawyer
The deteriorating ex-Mayor of New York spent 2019 running operations pressuring Vladimir Zelenskyy to cooperate with creating propaganda against the Bidens which culminated in the first impeachment of Donald Trump. Rudy recently had his law license revoked because he is under federal investigation.
Rudy was deeply involved in the planning and creation of the election fraud propaganda which led to the insurrection.

Flynn’s group’s primary roadblock in executing their plan was getting cooperation from Trump’s White House legal team, who appear to have been uninterested in creating a constitutional crisis.

Plan A wasn’t working
Plan A to overturn the election required an Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) on Foreign Threats to the Elections be delivered through the Office of the Director of National Intelligence by December 18th, 2020 — per Executive Order 13848 signed by Trump in 2018.
However, two days before the deadline the ODNI issued a statement saying the ICA would be delayed.
It was not delivered in time, and a glance at the document makes it clear why.
The ICA was not what Trump needed. In fact, it said precisely the opposite. The ICA was going to point the finger squarely at Vladimir Putin — and Donald Trump.
Plan B was violence
In effect, The Meeting was a clash of extremists deciding what the right strategy was to destroy American democracy and keep Donald Trump in the presidency.
Despite their denials, Flynn’s group was convinced that if the White House lawyers would not cooperate with Plan A, that Plan B needed to involve violence — and the military.
Sidney Powell and Mike Flynn made an explicit attempt to take power in Trump’s administration. Here Byrne suggests Flynn should be “Field Marshall” of the operation to overturn the election.
While the participants of The Meeting had differing points of view about the strategy, they all appear to have been on board with the use of violent mobs “pressuring” Congress, threatening revolution and committing political violence.
While the events of January 6th get most of the attention, it is crucial to understand how deep and pre-meditated the plan went, and why it went so terribly wrong.

Great job Jim, @gal_suburban, and associates. I think plan B was in the making right beside plan A. Trump whistled to militias well before the infamous "Stand back and stand by statement", constantly Tweeting that law enforcement wasn't doing enough to protect city's from BLM and ANTIFA, he saw militias showing up at all the different State Houses like the 2A protest in Virginia, as well as the lockdown protest, the Governor Whitmer kidnapping plot, the militias showing up at BLM protest to protect private property, his base idolizing Kyle Rittenhouse, and during his 1st impeachment saying that the impeachment was a coup and would lead to a civil war, which then the Oath Keepers agreed and called for a "Hot Civil War" if congress impeached Trump. Then again he saw their power at the 'Stop The Steal rallies' in November 2020.
I'm hope the 1/6 committee will try and introduce legislation banning of private militias. We have well regulated militias; called the National Guard. Even ultra conservative Justice Scalia wrote for the majority in District of Columbia v. Heller that the Second Amendment “does not prevent the prohibition of private paramilitary organizations”
