The Russians Are Inflicting Brain Damage On Americans
Directed energy weapons are a demonstration of a much larger cognitive assault
On 60 Minutes last night, a bombshell report dropped about Russian use of directed energy weapons against Americans, both overseas, and importantly, on American soil.
This was real journalism in corporate media for once, and a critical story to tell about Russian aggression against American citizens. “Havana Syndrome” turns out not to be just “environmental factors” as the US government continues to allege, but a brutal attack on US personnel, designed to reduce our ability to combat Russia’s invasion of Ukraine & other Russian priorities by permanently damaging American brains.
The details of the attack are frightening and important to grasp. This appears to be more common and more devastating than anyone realized. And it appears to be coming from a unit of the GRU.
The basic method is “directed energy” which can be microwave or ultrasound beams. The symptoms are horrific.

Among the targets of this attack were Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and CIA personnel stationed in, or assigned to Ukraine after Putin invaded Crimea. As my readers will remember, Putin was only able to invade Crimea with no resistance because then-DIA Director Mike Flynn allowed it to happen — seven months after being the only American to visit GRU headquarters. He was fired six weeks later.
It is important to remember, this revelation about directed energy weapons demonstrates just one more component of the hybrid, asymmetric war that Putin has been waging on America for decades but went into full scale war after Mike Flynn agreed to be his US “General.”
I hope this will provide the Biden Administration a motivation for taking action against Russian aggression in the United States, and against Putin’s proxies, although I will not hold my breath.
The psychological war machine Putin and Mike Flynn have created has caused more brain trauma than a million directed energy weapons could. Everyone who has lost someone to the christofascist MAGA/QAnon+ cult can attest that this attack causes devastating damage to its targets and it doesn’t need any special equipment.
We’ve reached a point six months before the election where it’s clear no one is coming to rescue us. Our institutions, including the vast majority of corporate media, have decided to normalize all of this, to leave us to our own devices. So be it.
We are facing “an insurgency, irregular warfare at its finest.” The counterinsurgency will have to come from us.
