If so many Americans didn't value slime in the form of infotainment, wealth-tainment, celebrity-tainment, influencer-tainment, sports-tainment, political posturing without doing anything meaningful-tainment, scroll-tainiment, rage-tainment, number-of-followers-tainment and similar, we might actually be able to light up every odious drop of this slime.

A not-so-secret society of extreme narcissists and billionaire loons driving humanity off a cliff... rudderless deviants without empathy or morality. I used to say that the legislative branch had two factions "gray corporatist slime," and "The Taliban," of course these terms are both inaccurate and unfair although the goals of our "Taliban" and the achievements of the one in Afghanistan are fairly similar. But the idea of a slime, pervasive and controlling is something I can actually see.
