Ouch! Edifying and quite disturbing. Thank you!

This should be a full-page ad in the New York Times. It will become a full-length movie in a few years -- if we survive that long. Outstanding work, Jim.

The real face of unfettered and deregulated capitalism. A not-so-secret society of extreme narcissists and billionaire loons driving humanity off a cliff... rudderless deviants without empathy or morality. History is full of these characters who lust for power for power's sake. Their extreme wealth leaves them empty, soulless vessels, and it always ends badly. Every century becomes deadlier than the previous. We need to jam the spokes when and if we get the chance to push back. Thanks for shining the light into the darkroom, Jim.

I kinda think “slime” is too whimsical a word for what you’re describing but I totally get it 👏🏻

Excellent historical analysis. How do we stop them?

Interesting way of looking at it. I used to say that the legislative branch had two factions "gray corporatist slime," and "The Taliban," of course these terms are both inaccurate and unfair although the goals of our "Taliban" and the achievements of the one in Afghanistan are fairly similar. But the idea of a slime, pervasive and controlling is something I can actually see.
