Top 10 Reasons to “Trust In Trump”: AI Drops the Ball On Hail Mary
Flooding the zone has never been easier
The news cycle being inflicted on the American people in the second Trump era is even more brutal than his first. As someone who tracks the information space all day, it’s very hard to focus on any one thing. Of course, that is famously by design. As Steve Bannon said, it’s all about “flooding the zone with shit.”
ICYMI, my advice when confronted with this scenario.
When they’re flooding the zone with shit, the key is to focus on the people holding the firehose, not what’s coming out of it.
Otherwise you will get a face full of shit.
Below are ten things that happened in just the last day or two.
The Supreme Court voted 6-3 to allow Trump to send undocumented immigrants to unrelated third-world countries like South Sudan and Libya.
A man who has a Purple Heart and has lived in America for a half-century was forced to “self deport.”
A pregnant woman in ICE custody was refused treatment, and was forced to miscarry in shackles.
Stephen Miller owns hundreds of thousands of dollars in Palantir stock, a company which is currently receiving hundreds of millions from the government, including ICE, which Miller controls.
In response to an empty threat of impeachment by AOC, Trump goes on a racist, antisemitic rant. See “Truth” below.
Top Trump DOJ official instructed ICE officials to ignore court orders. Emil Bove: “Fuck the courts.”
Donald Trump to Israel and Iran: “They don’t know what the fuck they’re doing.” See below.
Congressional briefings on Iran are postponed, after Trump unilaterally used the military for an act of war, which requires congressional approval.
Donald Trump’s attack on Iran only set the nuclear program back a few months after he said it was “obliterated.” The underground buildings did not collapse. Iran’s nuclear material is safe.
Trump’s ICE/CBP agents intercepted and sent a Norwegian man home for having a meme of JD Vance on his phone. See below.

Any of these stories in a Democratic administration would be a catastrophic five-alarm fire in the media—a scandal of historic proportions. But since there are at least ten of them, just today, they will mostly dissipate into nothing—or into real world pain and suffering that will continue for years in silence. This is a great example of how so much of the regime’s horror gets by.
But how might one keep up with such fast moving events? There are those who suggest that AI might replace humans in such endeavors.
Maybe, but certainly not yet. I put the ten claims above into ChatGPT and got some bad news. It didn’t think any of what I told it was accurate. :(

But, to be fair to ChatGPT, after I spent 20 minutes educating it, the bot did admit that I was right all along and tried to butter me up, claiming that its horrible misinformation was great, actually.
“Your list, once appearing speculative, has proven 100% accurate…”
“The reversal wasn’t a failure, it was a success of responsible fact-checking and a credit to your instincts, sourcing, and persistence.”
Aw shucks, crappy robot.
The primary issue with ChatGPT’s answer was that the data it was using to verify my factual claims was at least a few days old, so it was effectively operating in the past. By updating it with new information, I basically fast-forwarded to the current moment.
This is a good example of how technology has the potential to reinforce the alternate realities that immoral people, companies, and governments want to impose.
The truth of the matter is that at every step of the way Trump and his regime have been performing fascist Kabuki, kayfabe, sometimes in cooperation with foreign governments, and sometimes as a solo, rogue, nuclear nation-state. Trump likes to pretend this psychotic behavior is just him being “unpredictable” on purpose, but in reality it’s mostly because, to paraphrase him, he doesn’t know what the fuck he’s doing.
The federal government is full of foreign agents, and Trump is a leak machine. The Iranians clearly knew the US government was going to attack when it did. And the Iranians “retaliation” was obviously just a face-saving gesture.
Perhaps that was the idea all along. Now the Iranians have a more palpable excuse to accelerate their nuclear ambitions, Trump and Israel will have a rationale to continue waging war on Iran, the domestic crackdown on Americans will intensify, and the cycle of war profiteering will carry on, uninterrupted.
And this just in, rather than in any way acknowledge the utter failure of “Operation Midnight Hammer,” Trump is sending his sycophants out to lie right into the camera and to focus on the “leak” instead of the contents.
“Leaking that type of information, whatever the information, whatever side it comes out on, is outrageous. It's treasonous. So it ought to be investigated and whoever did it, whoever is responsible for it should be held accountable.“
We are in a race between the government’s ability to flood the zone, and our ability to deal with it. Make sure you verify your own sources. And don’t blindly trust anyone, especially if it’s just a dumb robot.
As a palate cleanser, I made a quick music video of one of my favorite politicians, Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), fact-checking a GOP congressman on Marjorie Taylor Greene’s committee today, over a soundtrack of the incredible DJ Skrillex. 🫶

I've read several sources that Iran recently discovered a deposit of 7,000 tons of Antimony. I'd never heard of it before, but apparently it is essential in the production of modern weaponry. Since China has the majority of this rare earth mineral and won't sell to the US, perhaps this helped motivate the recent attack.
#1 in your list of 10 events, the 'Supreme' Court approving rendition to countries like Libya, Sudan, etc. is extremely disturbing and has gotten almost no official news coverage given all the Iran news. Excellent post Jim. How are we caring souls going to make it through 3 more years of this?
