Time to band together and get busy

If you’re reading this, you have navigated a minefield of disinformation and chaos operations. You’ve seen through the bullshit and are actively seeking a dose of reality. Honored and grateful to have you here.

Nearly two years ago I set out to expose QAnon for the dangerous cult I saw it growing into. Within a few weeks, I figured out the people running the operation and set out to combat it. I fully expected the right wing attacks, but I was blindsided by people I thought were there to expose disinformation but were really there to protect it.

For a year and a half on Twitter, I built a library of threads on nearly every relevant subject to QAnon, fascism and disinformation. I predicted the insurrection weeks ahead of time and exposed the entire psychological operation being conducted on American citizens. I had 60,000 followers and growing, 30 million impressions a month, and was regularly breaking important news.

I was targeted by a large, paid, coordinated harassment campaign led by single purpose hate accounts who did nothing all day long but attack me — many are still doing it now. This was an effort to get me to say anything that could get me suspended and to try to emotionally beat me down to silence me and promote the false narrative they were protecting.

I refused to shut up, although it took a huge toll on me. And I refused to say anything that broke Twitter’s rules.

Despite all this and repeated warnings and appeals to Twitter to please stop these attacks, Twitter Safety permanently banned me in January for nothing. Period. I broke no rules. However, it exposed the corruption at the heart of Twitter Inc. and the lies and harassment of the people they employ — which I have documented extensively.

I will not only get my Twitter account back but I will expose every single disinformation agent, single purpose hate account and chaos operative still causing harm. Twitter can either figure out the corruption at Twitter Safety is not working for the company anymore on their own — or I will force the issue through the press and the legal system.

For nearly five months now, despite the attacks continuing on Twitter, I have rebuilt a library of information on Substack and tried to provide context and insight into the madness we all see around us.

Starting from scratch again has been daunting. So be it.

SO… here are a few things I’m going to do in the short term. And some humble requests.

The “public square” at Twitter and Facebook is a polluted war zone of sleazy disinfo agents, controlled opposition, chaos operatives and propaganda. We need to push back on this and stop being frightened of defending the truth and truth tellers.

I see what I think of as an archipelago of sanity emerging in a sea of madness. I’m asking all my subscribers and friends to start amplifying the people you see speaking the truth — and don’t be afraid to expose liars. This is a fight. Please get in it if you can. The only weapon you need is reality.

Social media is weaponized by bad actors for a reason. It’s time to understand this is literally a hot information war with enemies of democracy. WE are the front lines of WWIII and it’s time to come together and win it.

I’m going to take steps to increase my reach here and I humbly request your help. Please share any articles you think have merit on Twitter and Facebook and anywhere else and suggest people subscribe. Fair warning: It is almost certain that you will get a few trolls showing up in your mentions because they use technical tools to detect any positive reference to me and deploy people to lie. Please simply block them and don’t engage.

After listening to feedback, I’m going to try weekly Zoom calls for paid subscribers. The goal is to provide a high-bandwidth forum where I can answer any questions I can. Also excited to learn from you. The format will be loose and will be adjusted as we go but will include AMAs, subject matter discussions and planning sessions to fight disinfo ops.

The next six months leading to the 2022 elections are going to be like nothing we have ever seen in America. The terrorism, propaganda and chaos operations are going to intensify. The Biden administration needs to understand that the American people are not willing to slide into autocracy, have our kids shot at school, or allow women to be sent back to the 19th century.

It’s up to us. No one is going to come to the rescue — because the people that need to be rescued are the vast majority of American citizens. All we have to do is recognize our power, our voice — and use it.
