After writing this piece, I wanted to get some things off my chest. I’m more deeply concerned than I have been in a long time, largely because it seems like the Biden Administration is frittering away our last chance at democracy.
Take the prospect of a fascist-controlled US Government seriously. I’m not saying anyone should panic, build a bomb shelter or anything like that, but I do think everyone should have options if things accelerate. Fascist takeovers have a specific process. There will be opportunities to make a decision — just make sure you know where to go when it’s time. Second chances may not come around.
