Mike really wants people to think that Fred Brennan — who invented and ran GamerGate as the cult leader, and created the website it ran on — was just a peripheral player. Nope.

GamerGate started on misogynist rape fantasy website Wizardchan a few weeks after Fred Brennan stepped down as the owner near the end of 2013. It may not have been labeled “GamerGate” yet but it was Fred Brennan who started attacking Zoe Quinn from the beginning.

One question for Mike Rothschild. Where were YOU during GamerGate? What was your GamerGate handle? Or do I have to pay your “hourly rate” to get that info?
