We’re Not Powerless and We’re Not Giving Up
It’s crazy out there. Here’s an update from the front.
Phew. The last several days on the front lines of Twitter have been very intense. After well over a month back on the platform, I’m getting a feel for how Elmo has it set up and for how the enemy has retrenched and fortified under a different set of rules.
For one thing, while there is nothing good about the free flow of hate that Elmo has allowed, he has taken a lot of “moderation” tools out of the hands of contractors and entrenched management at Twitter that did in fact use it to censor people. Importantly however, by and large, it was the left that was targeted, not the right as alleged in the “Twitter Files” hoax/psyop — which I have been gleefully debunking.
Also, the “algorithm,” while still clearly biased to the right, is also relatively easy to manipulate now. It seems far less complex.
I saw “World War III” trend along with “America First” and decided to inject a bit of truth into the flow. For the most part, the tweets in the trend are Kremlin propaganda, but this was the top tweet (in the top trend) for several hours and still going very strong.
Let me be clear, this is not about clout, this is just about giving people an example of how it is possible to get truth out to people on Twitter. For the people still using it, the more of us who understand the mechanics and use them in favor of democracy and truth, the better.
At the same time, Twitter is still a horrific trauma factory that has allowed some of the worst people on Earth back on to spew hate, tell lies and engage in coordinated harassment of innocent people.
As my readers know, my dear friendMindF_ck/ Gal Suburban has been one of the most important researchers on Twitter for years now. On her own time, juggling kids and a household, she has uncovered some of the most important facts in recent history. For example, this series based on her research.
You may also be aware that Gal was attacked, lied about and had information she had chosen to keep private exposed through deception. Our friend Jenny Cohn wrote a thread to explain what happened.

At the same time, my old hate cult is back in full force with most of the crew back in force. I sent a few lobs back in their direction to let them know I’m not going to put up with their defamation.
To be very clear, the last thing I want to talk about are Trolls and Miscreants, but when they hurt my friends, prevent me from doing my work or try to wedge me from people, I will not be afraid to clear the road forward. I did warn them.

I doubt that I get it all -- it’s overwhelming. I certainly feel the malice and intent to harm our capacity for civil discourse. Guess that’s what they want. Thanks again
