I think it is hard for some people to really understand that Trump is amoral and literally only cares about himself…..because for most of us - that is a truly foreign concept - to not care about anyone but yourself. I lived thru it with my ex and coming to understand he really only cared about himself took me some time to accept as I just couldn’t wrap my head around that thinking or thought process. I gave him so many excuses like the media gives Trump but in the end and bottom line - neither has the desire to care about anyone but themselves.

You've got all the building blocks of an important literary chronology(a book) detailing what has happened to the country, namely, a psychological war on democracy.
