Why is the Italygate guy still running DIA?

Seditionist Ezra Cohen blamed Scott Berrier for sending Americans into an Italian prison to support Donald Trump’s Big Lie

Military intelligence provides information to the government about the activities of enemy nation-states. The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) is the military equivalent of the CIA — DIA is the official organ for US military intelligence.

The DIA was run by Mike Flynn until he was fired by Barack Obama in 2014 after the DIA completely failed to warn Obama of Putin’s invasion of Crimea.

In July 2020, a few months before the elections, Donald Trump nominated Scott Berrier, in what was deemed an “unusual” choice, to be head of the DIA.

Yesterday, Scott Berrier was grilled by Senators about the performance of our military intelligence in Ukraine and Afghanistan. Recall that the Biden administration was told that it would take weeks if not months for the Taliban to take over Kabul. Instead it took 2 days, putting American troops in harms way as we tried to exit the country.

In Ukraine, military intelligence also made a massive error in judgment when it predicted the fall of Kiev within a few days, when we now know the Russian invasion was incompetent and the Ukrainians were willing to fight heroically.

These assessments were provided by Trump appointee Lt. Gen. Scott Berrier who served with Mike Flynn in Iraq and Afghanistan and at the DIA.

In late December 2020, the enemies of democracy, including the then-President Donald Trump, were desperately trying to hold on to power.

To support the Big Lie that the election was stolen, numerous bizarre conspiracy theories were invented and amplified to the American people to radicalize them and ultimately incite them to stage an insurrection at the Capitol on January 6th, 2021. One of the most bizarre was “Italygate” which proposed that an Italian hacker who was in prison was responsible for stealing votes for Joe Biden through satellites.

To support this preposterous claim, the US government sent two officials with the “Italian Marjorie Taylor-Greene,” Sara Cunial, to grill the hacker in the Italian prison.

Seditionist Ezra Cohen, Mike Flynn’s protege who stole classified documents for Devin Nunes, and was fired from the National Security Council before being installed as top intelligence official at the Pentagon after the election, blames Scott Berrier for sending the officials into the Italian prison.

So the question arises, is this true? Either someone is lying or the current head of the DIA is responsible for illegally sending US officials into an Italian prison in order to support the Big Lie that has the US on the brink of collapse.

To be clear, Ezra Cohen is a liar and a traitor. Nothing he says should be believed. However, the behavior of Scott Berrier during Senate hearings yesterday and the failure of the DIA to correctly assess the capabilities of our enemies raises questions.

Does Scott Berrier deny what Ezra Cohen says about his actions supporting a plan to overthrow democracy or not?

If not, why is Scott Berrier still in charge of our national military intelligence?
