Many years ago, I looked forward to Matt Taibbi articles in Rolling Stone. But at some point Taibbi decided to go all in on being a pro-Putin propagandist. YouTube in its infinite wisdom recommended this video which is pure disinformation.
Right before Bill Barr officially dropped the charges on Mike Flynn for lying about his communications with the Russian government in May 2020, Taibbi went on this show with Krystal Ball and Saagar Enjeti — which does Putin apologia through a “bipartisan” lens.
This is one of the most pathetic attempts at whitewashing a traitor and trying to cover up for Russian interference in 2016 I have ever seen. These people know what they’re doing.
Tankie Putin trash. All of them. Anyone who intentionally covered up for this attack on America and the traitors who ran it should be held accountable. Take your “bipartisan”show and put it where the “rising” sun don’t shine.

I can't watch this while I'm supposed to be working. So goddamned infuriating. I too used to look forward to reading Taibbi's articles but not any more!
I thought I was the only Matt Taibbi fan to sour on his turn to the right. As, Bonnie said, it must be about money. Being liberal doesn't pay but being a tool of the billionaire set does.
