A Terrifying Sense of Relief

I remember feeling this way once before

Over the last few months, starting with the indictments of the Proud Boys and Oathkeepers, I have been feeling a creeping sense of hope. But, in all honesty, I am unable to trust it.

I wrote an article three months ago reverse engineering what it would take to preserve our democracy. For the most part, it’s held up pretty well so far.

Hopium: What if?

In the time since the January 6th Committee took its break, the DOJ has executed an unprecedented and wide-ranging set of searches on people connected to the insurrection, including, most famously, Donald Trump.

These searches appear to be encircling the worst traitor in American history, Mike Flynn. The latest search and seizure is on Flynn’s second favorite brainwashed billionaire behind Patrick Byrne, MyPillow guy Mike Lindell. Given Lindell’s complete inability to control himself, it’s hard to imagine that his phone being seized is not going to put a lot of pressure on his co-conspirators.

Attorney and Russian propagandist Christina Bobb #Bobbski, who has been working with Flynn for over a decade, was the lawyer who lied about classified documents at Mar-a-lago. Now she has hired her own lawyer. As someone said, Make Attorneys Get Attorneys. #MAGA

Additionally, “The Search for Q” Season 2, obliterated any of the disinformation surrounding Mike Flynn and has exposed him once and for all as the leader of a psychological operation designed to overturn democracy.

Flynn’s fantasy of a “legitimate” political career has been decimated. Motive, opportunity and evidence of his black-letter Treason is finally getting the attention it deserves.

This is all great news and gives me a sense of relief that the information is finally out there.

However…

Flynn is at war with the US Government and the majority of the American people. This is not a euphemism or an exaggeration. He has been executing hybrid war, cognitive war, psychological war — whatever you want to call it — against American citizens since 2016.

This is a life or death fight for him. On one side is his decreasing chance to win his war and regain power. On the other is a Court Martial, a potential Treason charge, and at minimum, the rest of his life in prison.

Flynn by himself, with the massive insurgency he’s built in the United States, and his huge army of digital soldiers ready to become physical soldiers, is an existential threat. But his fate is inextricably tied to Vladimir Putin’s and vice versa. If Flynn goes down, Putin’s General in the United States does too.

Flynn gives Putin enormous power over the United States. Putin is already losing in Ukraine. In my view, Flynn’s arrest would be fatal to Putin as well.

The J6 Committee is back in business and focusing on the end of the month for new hearings. While I had some doubts before, I now am absolutely certain one of the targets will be Mike Flynn.

This puts us in an extremely precarious place. A cornered combination of Mike Flynn and Vladimir Putin is a very dangerous animal.

The DOJ and the Pentagon need to take action against Flynn and his network immediately. Given any more time to plan and execute more chaos, it is impossible to fathom what they might try.

That’s why my Hopium is still just that. I will believe it when I see it. I felt a sense of relief after the Inauguration too. That was shattered along with so much else. Women’s rights is only the beginning of what we will lose if people like Mike Flynn are allowed to walk free.
